New Jazmine Sullivan Promo Pics

Jazmine Sullivan, the woman whose tone is single-handedly keeping me sane at the moment, is looking all kinds of retro fierce in this new set of promotional photos for her sensational sophomore album Love Me Back!

Katharine McPhee Performs "It's Not Christmas Without You" On Red Eye

Always one to find the most random FOX shows to perform on, Katharine McPhee sang her original song "It's Not Christmas Without You" off her holiday album Christmas Is The Time To Say I Love You on Red Eye. I have to admit that I haven't listened to her Christmas album yet, despite having bought it online the week it came out (that's what happens when you release the same year as Mariah... just sayin'!), & I'm feeling rather guilty about it now because that song & her performance of it were both quite lovely! I'm also surprised how entertaining she was in the interview that followed. I'm starting to buy that she could actually be funny on a sitcom...

Eve Does Inked Magazine

First a performance, now this? I haven't seen this much of Eve in years! The femcee has a cover spread in the January 2011 issue of Inked, where she discusses her signature paw tattoos, but what caught my eye from the article was the update on her forthcoming album Lip Lock. The first single is set to be a song called "Superstar", while other tracks up for inclusion on the album are "Kiss Myself", the Akon-produced ballad "Treasure", & "Forgive Me", a reggae-tinged cut that's Eve's favorite... not to mention "Give It Here", which she's been performing in Europe. Another interesting tidbit was that when Eve left Interscope, she was able to take some material with her, so half of the new album should be that stuff. I'm excited for her to finally release some new music! Infact, if I had my way, 2011 = The Year Of The Femcee!

Nicki Minaj Performs "Right Thru Me" On Jimmy Kimmel

Nicki Minaj performed "Right Thru Me", which is lifted from her debut album Pink Friday, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. Seriously, "Right Thru Me" again?! "I can't take it!" Ugh.

Alicia Keys "Buy Life" World AIDS Day Campaign

Alicia Keys has digitally died to help raise money through Buy Life, a part of Keep A Child Alive, for World AIDS Day (December 1st). She has been joined by the likes of Usher, Janelle Monae, & Jennifer Hudson, all of whom have filmed their 'last tweet & testament' to raise awareness of the campaign, which you can watch by clicking their respective names. They won't tweet again (OH NO! lol) until $1 million is raised. It kinda rubs me the wrong way when celebrities who could shell out a milli like it's nothing want us poor working folk to pay up instead... but I suppose it's all for a good cause regardless. If you'd like to make a donation/buy their digital lives back, HERE is the place to do it.

Keyshia Cole Performs "Long Way Down" On Leno

Keyshia Cole visited The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to perform the lead ballad "Long Way Down" off her upcoming fourth album Calling All Hearts (December 21st). It started out rough (I don't know why she does this... I know she can sing live. She does it every once-in-a-while.), but picked up towards the end.

New Music Tuesday

It's getting closer to Christmas & that means even bigger New Music Tuesdays! First up, we have Jazmine Sullivan, who releases her sophomore album Love Me Back, which features the singles "Holding You Down (Goin' In Circles)" & "10 Seconds", today. I'm not sure when I'll have time to review it, so in the meantime, I'm just gonna tell you that, December aside, Love Me Back is the best album of the year! Also dropping today (finally) is Fefe Dobson's second release Joy. (It's not really her sophomore album because that would be the unreleased Sunday Love, which featured the standouts "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" & "As A Blonde", both of which have since been recorded by other artists.) Joy includes the singles "I Want You", "Watch Me Move", "Ghost", & "Stuttering", the latter three of which I adore. Finally, we have the DVD/CD release of Beyonce's "I Am... World Tour", which is a definite must-have. Purchase links are provided below as well as via the widget on your right.

Mariah Carey ft. Patricia Carey "O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus" Video Premiere

"O Come All Ye Faithful/Hallelujah Chorus", featuring Patricia Carey, is the second single off Mariah Carey's new holiday album Merry Christmas II You. The video, which features footage from the recording studio, premiered during Mariah's takeover of HSN to debut her lifestyle brand today. Everybody: Aaawwww!

*UPDATED* David Archuleta Performs On Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas

Silent Night (w/ Orla Fallon)

Pat-A-Pan

David Archuleta took the stage with Orla Fallon on her PBS Christmas special to perform "Silent Night", which is featured on her album Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas, & "Pat-A-Pan" off his own Christmas From The Heart CD. He--& they, together--sounded absolutely incredible!

UPDATE: David also joined Orla, Meav, & Mark Wills for a performance of "Here We Come A-Wassailing", served up with extra cheese! Really though, it sounded too good not to enjoy:

Nicki Minaj Performs "Right Thru Me" On Regis & Kelly

Nicki Minaj performed "Right Thru Me" off Pink Friday again on Live With Regis & Kelly. O...nika. Please, with the singing.

Christina Aguilera Collaborates With T.I.

For his December 7th release No Mercy, T.I. has nabbed none other than Christina Aguilera for the closer "Castle Walls":

Christina, T.I., & producer Alex Da Kid did a very nice job with this one! While we're on the topic of Christina & speaking of being impressed, I saw "Burlesque" last night & LOVED it! Honestly, the movie was a joy to watch & each & every musical number was a showstopper! I highly recommend it.

Nicole Scherzinger Performs "Poison" On Daybreak

Nicole Scherzinger visited Daybreak the morning after her big performance on The X Factor to continue promoting her new single "Poison" with another fierce performance. I'll be a witness to the fact that she does indeed have that poison that'll make you fall in love with her!

Dirty Money ft. Skylar Grey "Coming Home" Video Premiere

"Coming Home", featuring Skylar Grey (but only audibly here), is the umpteenth single lifted from Dirty Money's forthcoming album Last Train To Paris (December 14th). The video was duuuuullllll, but at least I got a little of Dawn's tone on that second chorus!

Eve & Guy Sebastian Perform "Who's That Girl" On The X Factor Australia

Eve joined Guy Sebastian to perform the interestingly titled "Who's That Girl", the new single off his greatest hits album Twenty Ten, on the finale of the Australian version of The X Factor, which I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) Guy is also a judge on. Nice to see ya there, Eve! I like how the host didn't waste his question with her. The woman hasn't released an album in eight years, but whatever. No info necessary. *eyeroll* She flowed quite well! As for the song & Guy himself, I just find something rather dull about them both. Eh.

The 2010 Soul Train Awards Recap

Jazmine Sullivan & Doug E. Fresh - Medley

Keyshia Cole Tributes Ron Isley

I haven't watched the 2010 Soul Train Awards yet, although I plan to via my DVR as soon as I have the time, but I can already tell you that the highlight of the evening was Jazmine Sullivan's medley of "10 Seconds" & "Holding You Down (Goin' In Circles)", which she brought out Doug E. Fresh (whom I believe she sampled on "Holding You Down") for. I could listen to her sing live all day! Another impressive vocal showing came from Keyshia Cole, who participated in a tribute to Ron Isley. (Note: I don't think the above video is the whole tribute--I stopped watching when Keyshia was done--but it's the only portion of it I could find in HQ anyway.) As for the winners, my favorite would have to be Ciara's "Ride" for Best Dance Performance! Other include Melanie Fiona for Best New Artist, Usher for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist (tied with Trey Songz...a mess) & Album Of The Year (Raymond Vs. Raymond), Rihanna & Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie" for Best Hip-Hop Song Of The Year, Alicia Keys for Best Female R&B/Soul Artist (shoulda been Monica or Fantasia...) & Record Of The Year for "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)", & Janelle Monae, who won the Centric Award. View all the winners HERE.

Album Review: David Archuleta "The Other Side Of Down"

David Archuleta shot into my life a couple seasons of American Idol ago, becoming my favorite male contestant the show has ever seen seemingly overnight. Luckily for me, my ears were pleased to find his 2008 self-titled debut album just as enjoyable. Fast-forward to 2010: My anticipation for David's sophomore album The Other Side Of Down--& my expectations for it--are high. The good thing is that no matter what, there's always that voice! But as far as material goes, was David able to match the quality of his excellent debut?

1. "The Other Side Of Down": Though cute enough, the title track isn't one of the album's best. 4/5

2. "Something 'Bout Love": Venturing a tad into the popular dance-pop sound, David actually surprised (I know I shouldn't have been) me with how comfortable he was with it on the album's first single. 4.5/5

3. "Elevator": I see where he was going with this one, but unfortunately, I don't think he ever quite arrived. 3.5/5

4. "Stomping The Roses": You gotta give the guy credit for trying to push himself a bit here lyrically. Though somewhat forgettable, it did result in a decent track. 4/5

5. "Who I Am": I like the groove of this one. This is closer to the David that I prefer. 4.5/5

6. "Falling Stars": This song is gorgeous. Possibly my favorite on the album. 5/5

7. "Parachutes & Airplanes": After, in my opinion, a shaky start, David seems to find his, for lack of a better word, groove by this point in the album. This is a very nice track. 4.5/5

8. "Look Around": As a fellow Imogen Heap fan, I can appreciate the minimalist sound he went with here. Terrific. 5/5

9. "Good Place": Not bad... another non-highlight for me. 4/5

10. "Complain": One of only two tracks on the album to feature a 'name' collaborator--Claude Kelly (the other being "Falling Stars", also Kelly)--this just goes to show that David should be working with them more, being that as experienced, successful musicians, they seem to know what material works best with a unique voice like David's. 4.5/5

11. "Things Are Gonna Get Better": This song is good, but the recording is just alright. I enjoyed his live performance this past Labor Day better (but then, isn't David live always better?!). 4/5

12. "My Kind Of Perfect": Not quite (my kind of) perfect, but decent for sure--& quite lovely vocally. 4/5

Sorry, but I just don't think The Other Side Of Down quite measures up to David Archuleta. In fact, I actually find this one a bit less cohesive (quality-wise) than his debut. That said, David's done some wonderful things here on certain songs & on occasion, his experimentation does pay off. Overall, his voice carries the record & makes for a pretty solid second effort.

Nicki Minaj "My Time Now" Documentary

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

MTV premiered the Nicki Minaj documentary "My Time Now" this evening & it chronicles some of the highlights from the lead-up to the release of Nicki Minaj's debut album Pink Friday. This was a decent watch. Honestly, it didn't change my life or anything.

Nicole Scherzinger Performs "Poison" On The X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger returned to The X Factor, where she had filled in for judge Cheryl Cole earlier in the season, to perform her new single "Poison". The performance, which was a hot one, seems to have done its job because according to Nicole, the song is now #3 on iTunes in the UK! Nico... Nicooo... NICOOOOOLE, YEAH!!

Rihanna "GQ UK" Magazine Cover

Rihanna is makin' that red hair work for her on the latest cover of British GQ. Her new album Loud is out now.

Keri Hilson ft. Rick Ross "The Way You Love Me" Video Premiere

"The Way You Love Me", featuring Rick Ross, is the third single off Keri Hilson's upcoming sophomore album No Boys Allowed (December 21st). With cameos from JoJo, Dawn Richard, Faith Evans, Lloyd, Columbus Short, & the song's producer Polow Da Don, the video seemed like it was gonna be some sort of event, but it didn't so much turn out that way. I should've known better the moment I heard it was being directed by Laurieann Gibson. The beginning & end were pointless--& I can't imagine where this could possibly 'continue' that would be any more interesting--& the rest was just a slutty mess, which is a shame because she did look good otherwise. She also sounds nice on the verses, but I still can't get past that hook! Ugh. She was doing so good too (that "Pretty Girl Rock" video!).

Ashlee & Jessica Simpson Perform "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" On PBS

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz joined her sister to sing "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" on her "Jessica Simpson: Happy Christmas" PBS special. The performance wasn't as bad as you'd think, but that's about it on the positive side. Ash, what's up with the hair? Not to mention that Jessica must be in one of her upswings... It's weird because I never would've thought it possible when Jess first came out, but Ashlee > Jessica vocally.

Beyonce "I Am... World Tour" Special

Thanksgiving night, Beyonce fans were thankful to ABC for airing the superstar's "I Am... World Tour" special. Now, in case you missed it or want to see it again, you can watch the entire 90-minute special above! For even more, pick up Beyonce's "I Am... World Tour" DVD/CD on November 30th. It hasn't even been that long, but I still feel like I've missed her & that talent in my life! This was outstanding & I can't wait to get that DVD in my hands!

Avril Lavigne Album Update

Avril Lavigne has announced that the title of her long-awaited fourth album will be Goodbye Lullaby & that it is expected to drop in March. Her first single, "What The Hell", will be released in January, with the video being shot this month. "Alice" really wet my appetite earlier this year, so I'm excited for Avril to return. I'm hoping for more of an Under My Skin vibe than we received last go-round.

Melanie Fiona, John Legend, & Common Perform "Wake Up Everybody" On CNN Heroes

Melanie Fiona performed "Wake Up Everybody", her collaboration with John Legend & Common, once again Thanksgiving night on CNN Heroes. Nice vocals, Mel! Still shoulda left the song in the '70s where it belongs.

Goo Goo Dolls "Something For The Rest Of Us" Album Review

We all know & pretty much love their hit "Iris" from all the way back in 1998, but for me, it was with their 2006 album Let Love In that the Goo Goo Dolls could officially call me a fan. Gorgeous tunes like "Stay With You", "Better Days", & the title track are simply undeniable! Thus, my anticipation has grown over the past four years substantially for their follow-up & it arrives with Something For The Rest Of Us.

1. "Sweetest Lie": Though still good, this song has a little bit of a stronger sound than I prefer. Luckily, for the rest of the album, they slow it down for me quite nicely! 4/5

2. "As I Am": Ahh, that's more like it! 4.5/5

3. "Home": The album's first single is a worthy one, if not quite the ear-catcher as their last album's lead ("Stay With You"). Almost though. 4.5/5

4. "Notbroken": The slow jam vibe continues nicely with this'n. 4.5/5

5. "One Night": We continue with this pretty good cut; it's not a highlight though. 4/5

6. "Nothing Is Real": Honestly, the lyrics confuse me a little on this one, although I do really like it. 4/5

7. "Now I Hear": This is one of two songs on the album sung by Robby Takac (not Johnny Rzeznik). I'm not a fan of his singing personally, but I won't hold it against them.

8. "Still Your Song": Nothing groundbreaking, but still a solid track. 4/5

9. "Something For The Rest Of Us": Top-notch album filler. Forgettable, but still quite good. 4/5

10. "Say You're Free": This is the other song sung by Robby Takac. Again, won't hold it against them...

11. "Hey Ya": Not to the point that it's a throwaway, but the chorus is a bit too repetitive. 3.5/5

12. "Soldier": A lovely way to top it all off! Very purdy. 4.5/5

If you're a fan of that good ol' rock ballad sound the Goo Goo Dolls are known for, then you are definitely one of 'the rest of us.' I wouldn't say that Something For The Rest Of Us has anything completely mindblowing on it, but it certainly doesn't have a stinker in the bunch either. I like the appropriateness of the title too--in the midst of all the absolute crap that the radio likes to play anymore, there is indeed still some good music out there!

Billboard Update

^#1 Album #1 Single^

SuBo's domination of the Billboard 200 album chart continues with The Gift as Rihanna's Loud debuts @ #3 with 207,000 copies sold, her best sales week yet. RiRi's inability to hit #1 in her mega-successful career after five tries is proof that she is the poster child for a 'singles artist,' further evidenced by the fact that Loud's first single "Only Girl (In The World)" has just hit the top spot on the Hot 100 singles chart two weeks after her second single "What's My Name?", which earns the Airplay Gainer title for the fourth week in a row while dipping 7-8, did. "Only Girl" is Rihanna's fourth #1 this year, the most times a female has hit the top spot in one year, & her ninth #1 overall. Meanwhile, Pink's "Raise Your Glass" rises 4-2 (her Greatest Hits... So Far!!! album debuted @ #14) & Michael Jackson debuts @ #84 with his Akon-assisted "Hold My Hand".

The Black-Eyed Peas "Light Up The Night" Viral Video Premiere

The Black-Eyed Peas have released their second viral video leading up to the release of their new album The Beginning on November 30th for "Light Up The Night", the group's latest iTunes release. This one seems a bit lazy compared to the last one for "Do It Like This".

Brandy, Ray J, & Willie Norwood "Talk To Me" Song Premiere

The Norwoods make it a family affair as Brandy, Ray J, & their dad Willie collaborate on "Talk To Me". I'm really digging the retro vibe of this new digital release. Could this be an appetizer to prepare us for a full meal in the form of a soundtrack to "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business"? Only time will tell, but I'd be cool with that! (Sorry, already got Thanksgiving on the brain...) Speaking of their show, its second season premieres on Sunday, December 5th, @ 11/10c on VH1!

Christina Aguilera Performs On Dancing With The Stars

Christina Aguilera gave me everything I needed with her performance of "Show Me How You Burlesque" off the (you guessed it!) "Burlesque" soundtrack (out now) on the Dancing With The Stars finale, followed by a random & awkwardly sign language-translated/interpretive danced-to rendition of "Beautiful", though the vocal delivery was certainly there on Christina's part. Oh yeah, & "Burlesque" opens today!

The Black-Eyed Peas "The Time (Dirty Bit)" Video Premiere

"The Time (Dirty Bit)" is the first single off The Black-Eyed Peas' forthcoming album The Beginning (November 30th). I was wondering when this video was gonna surface. It's pretty cool. The song is still trash... although, I'll admit, I do like the beat during the verses...

Beyonce Performs "Broken-Hearted Girl" On I Am... World Tour

Here's another performance by Beyonce from her "I Am... World Tour" for "Broken-Hearted Girl". Those vocals!! The "I Am... World Tour" DVD/CD hits stores on November 30th.

Nicki Minaj On 106 & Park + More

"Roman's Revenge" & "Right Thru Me"

Interview (Pt. 1)

Interview (Pt. 2)

Nicki Minaj took over 106 & Park Nicki to celebrate the release of her debut album Pink Friday on Monday. That "Roman's Revenge" performance was so hype, I love it! I kinda do wish the album was a bunch of "Roman's Revenge"s sans Eminem personally... lol. Seriously though, I could watch her just talk/answer questions/make faces/etc. all day long because that gives me about as much life as anything else! I think what really makes Nicki stand out is that--I mean, look--she's a whole movement all by herself! Crazy. Also, since I couldn't think of enough of a reason not to, here's Nicki's interview with Yahoo! Music:

Christina Aguilera On Conan + More

"Something's Got A Hold On Me"

Interview

Christina Aguilera appeared on Conan ...something, I've never heard of him ;) on her packed promo tour for "Burlesque" to perform "Something's Got A Hold On Me" from the soundtrack, which is out now, & teach him to show her how he burlesques. This is a show watched by young people... I wish she had performed "Express" without the theatrics & just given us a solid vocal showing, but it's whatever. Meanwhile, Christina also recently appeared on Chelsea (Handler)'s Big Interview Special, so check out their chat below... that is, if you're interested in basically watching the same interview as above over again:

Beyonce "Nightline" Interview

Part 1

Part 2

Beyonce was featured last night on ABC's Nightline as a precursor to her Thanksgiving night special on the network. In the interview, she discusses the film she shot while on tour (so THAT's what the documentary featured on the deluxe DVD is!) & her multiple talents. I feel like it can't be stressed enough how important Beyonce is for R&B music as well as real talent as a whole in the industry. I honestly believe that her success can be credited in large part for the continued presence of both in the music industry today. Also, on a random note, she looks drop dead GORGEOUS around the 1-minute mark in the second part--even better imo than she usually does with more makeup on! Beyonce's I Am... World Tour will be released on November 30th.

*UPDATED* Rihanna Does Interview Magazine

Rihanna finds herself back in the "Only Girl (In The World)" video on the cover of Interview's latest issue. This > the "Only Girl" video though! Her new album Loud is in stores now.

UPDATE: I've now added the entire cover shoot:

Keri Hilson Performs "Pretty Girl Rock" On Leno

Keri Hilson did her "Pretty Girl Rock", the second single off her forthcoming second album No Boys Allowed (December 21st), on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Get your dance on, Miss Keri!

Beyonce "C&A" Commercial

Beyonce stars in another commercial for international department store C&A promoting her Dereon clothing line. This is just a little music video, isn't it?! For someone more lowly than the Queen B, I know. Beyonce's I Am... World Tour DVD/CD arrives November 30th.

Rihanna "American Cancer Society" Commercial

Rihanna sings "Happy Birthday" to YOU in this new spot for the American Cancer Society, the 'official sponsor of birthdays.' Isn't that sweet? Rihanna's new album Loud is out now.

Christina Milian Album Update

The ever-elusive Christina Milian made a rare (professional) appearance at the AMAs & gave an update on her much-delayed third studio album (in the US anyway). Christina revealed that she is "just getting started on revamping" the 2011 project formerly known as Elope formerly known as Dream In Color, which she goes into more detail about below:

"I just had to find some time to revamp & regroup everything for what this new album's gonna be. It's gonna be fun, it's gonna be sexy, it's gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner."

However, for those, like myself, that are unsure how one would sing about a divorce in a "fun" way, Christina also said that the project will include some "intimate" material. I was afraid of this. I'm sure some of the plethora of music that has leaked by Ms. Milian as of late was from the Dream In Color era & if so, that was a disaster we thankfully avoided, but I was truly excited about Elope. The work she was doing with The-Dream really was innovative (for her at least) & showed some growth, which is likely not what we're going to receive now. Our saving grace however may just be that this album will come via Interscope Records, which may pick up the tap for some hot producers. (This seemingly clears up her label situation, as she was signed to Radio Killa Records, an Interscope subsidiary, but in light of her divorce, a split with Radio Killa was, if nothing else, assumed, resulting in confusion...)

Natasha Bedingfield Performs On Extra

Natasha Bedingfield performed acoustic versions of "Weightless", a new song off her upcoming album Strip Me (December 7th), & "Unwritten" on Extra. I like "Weightless" & this version of "Unwritten" actually made the song bearable, so this was nice!

The Caffeine Patch: New Cars 2 Trailer

New Music Monday

It's the Monday before Thanksgiving & that means it's a big day for music releases! First off, I have to acknowledge the "Burlesque" soundtrack, which, of course, heavily features Christina Aguilera. The disc really is a quite impressive combination of old & new, including the song "Express" that Christina performed last night. Then, well, #itsPinkFridayhoe because Nicki Minaj's long awaited Pink Friday has arrived! The femcee's debut includes the singles "Your Love", "Check It Out" with will.i.am, & "Right Thru Me". Last but definitely not least is "Michael Jackson's Vision", the definitive video collection from the King of Pop! Keri Hilson "No Boys Allowed" Photoshoot: Behind-The-Scenes + More

Check out Keri Hilson shooting the album artwork for her upcoming sophomore effort No Boys Allowed (December 21st) above. I like the way she looks in this shoot! Sue me. (lol) In related news, Keri has added another male collaborator to No Boys Allowed: J. Cole. I've heard the name, but I'm not familiar with his work, so I'll have to catch myself up. Maybe. If I have time. And am extremely bored.

The 2010 American Music Awards Recap

Christina Aguilera "Express"

Pink "Raise Your Glass"

Dirty Money "Coming Home"

Rihanna - Medley

The Black-Eyed Peas "The Time (Dirty Bit)"

Usher "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love"

Backstreet Boys & New Kids On The Block - Medley

So, the 2010 American Music Awards had a few decent performances to offer. Christina Aguilera promoted her new movie "Burlesque" with a performance that, well, wasn't her absolute best, but was still entertaining. Pink, pregnant & all, put on a great show as usual. Dirty Money gave me what I needed, yet has me wondering more than ever why Dawn couldn't have just sung the chorus like she does (wonderfully!) here. Rihanna, who opened the show, did so with a little "Love The Way You Lie (Part II)", followed (thankfully) by "What's My Name?" & ending with "Only Girl (In The World)". RiRi did her best! I must say though that she did look pretty good this evening. The Black-Eyed Peas, with their new-old garb, were still their typical selves. Usher frustrated me with that rehashing of his VMA performance & the whole NKOTBSB thing was just awkward. The winners, as usual, were nothing to write home about, but Usher did pick up two trophies for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist & Favorite Soul/R&B Album for Raymond Vs. Raymond, while Rihanna picked up Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist, The Black-Eyed Peas received Favorite Pop/Rock Group, & Carrie Underwood's Play On won Favorite Country Album. The rest are HERE, but if you're not a 14-year-old girl, you won't like them.

Keyshia Cole "Long Way Down" Video Premiere

"Long Way Down" is the second (dual-first?) single off Keyshia Cole's upcoming fourth album Calling All Hearts (December 21st). This video is another fairly generic one, though it features her fiance, basketball player Daniel Gibson, appropriately as her love interest. I really like the song--this is what I use Keyshia for!

Kelis "Brave" Video Premiere

"Brave" is the fourth single lifted from Kelis' latest album Flesh Tone. Four singles? God bless her. This simple video, directed by Rankin, who also did "Acapella" & "4th Of July (Fireworks)", is to my favorite song on the album!

The Black-Eyed Peas Perform On Oprah

The Black-Eyed Peas took the stage on Oprah to perform their new single "The Time (Dirty Bit)" off The Beginning (November 30th) for the first time, followed by a choir-assisted, Fergie-featured rendition of "Little Drummer Boy". The snowglobe was cool.

Here's the full video for "One More Chance" that will be released for the first time on the "Michael Jackson's Vision" video collection when it hits stores on Monday. One more chance to see Michael in action, indeed.

Christina Aguilera On Ellen

"Something's Got A Hold On Me"

Interview

Christina Aguilera tore it up with a performance of "Something's Got A Hold On Me" from the "Burlesque" soundtrack (November 22nd) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she also chatted about her feature film debut, among other current goings-on. Silly me, I thought "Express" was the single, but I guess they're just appealing to the different demos.

Janet Jackson "True You" Cover

Having finally completed it this year, Janet Jackson is set to release her book "True You: A Journey To Finding & Loving Yourself" on February 8, 2011. Janet's signature beautiful smile is appropriately featured on the book's cover art! I'm so glad that 2011 looks to be a great year for her!

Mariah Carey "HSN" Commercial

Check out this TV spot that Mariah Carey has put together to promote her Cyber Monday, November 29th, appearance on the Home Shopping Network in support of her new lifestyle brand. Super cheesy, just like I like it! I know it's a little stan-ish to even mention, but can I just say that I love the logo for her brand?! Anyway, Mariah's new album Merry Christmas II You, which I highly recommend, is out now!

Janet Jackson Announces 2011 Tour

Janet Jackson has announced that she will embark on a 35-city world tour next year in support of her recently released Number Ones collection. Fans can suggest which cities they would like to see Janet visit on her official site. It's been a little up in the air as to how focused Ms. Jackson was on music as of late, but she certainly cleared that all up!

Kris Allen "Alright With Me" Video Premiere

As a thank you to the fans, Kris Allen shot this video for "Alright With Me", the third single off his self-titled debut album, while on tour. If I recall correctly, this was one of my favorites on the album.

Karina & Harel Skaat "Words" Video Premiere

Karina has recorded a duet with Harel Skaat of his Israeli hit "Words" (AKA "Milim"). Although this came completely out of nowhere, she sounded great! Hey Karina, it'd be cool if you wanna release that sophomore album of yours anytime soon.

Dirty Money Collaborates With Nelly

Diddy, Dawn, & Kaleena have snuck their way onto the deluxe edition of Nelly's new album 5.0 on the track "K.I.S.S." alongside Murphy Lee:

I hear ya, Ms. Richard, & my ears thank ya! I'm still crossing my fingers that Last Train To Paris doesn't let me down.

Nicki Minaj Performs "Right Thru Me" On Letterman

Nicki Minaj performed "Right Thru Me" off Pink Friday (November 22nd) on The Late Show With David Letterman earlier. Definitely an improvement over Wendy. Nice job!

Janelle Monae On Lay It Down With Cee Lo Green

Janelle Monae performed "Sincerely, Jane", "Dance Or Die", & "Tightrope" during a showcase on Lay It Down With Cee Lo Green. I didn't realize this is how Cee Lo's show was set up! I thoroughly enjoyed the program, I just wish we could've gotten the entirety of that "Say You'll Go"! Janelle's debut album The ArchAndroid is out now.

Christina Aguilera On Leno

"Bound To You"

Interview

Christina Aguilera stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to perform "Bound To You", the big ballad from "Burlesque", after sitting down to discuss her feature film debut. You BETTER belt that, Chrissy! Reminder: Soundtrack = November 22nd, Movie = November 24th.

Keri Hilson "No Boys Allowed" Update

Keri Hilson has apparently decided not to take the title of her forthcoming sophomore album No Boys Allowed (December 21st) too seriously, as the set is to include features from Chris Brown, Kanye West, & Rick Ross, who spits on "The Way You Love Me", the album's next single. Also, in addition to previously announced collaborators, No Boys Allowed will feature production from the likes of Ryan Leslie & Stargate. This is another project that I'm secretly anticipating... although I find no shame in loving both "Breaking Point" & "Pretty Girl Rock"..!

Brandy On Post-Dancing With The Stars Circuit

The View

Good Morning America

Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Pt. 1)

Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Pt. 2)

Brandy has visited numerous talk shows, including The View, Good Morning America, & Jimmy Kimmel Live!, to discuss her premature elimination from Dancing With The Stars since the show's results were announced Tuesday evening. You can even check out Brandy & Maks dance their perfect 30-scoring Argentine Tango on the clip from The View above. While still carrying herself with class & confidence, I'm glad Brandy has been honest about her surprise upon being eliminated because she certainly had every right to be!
