The 2009 Academy Awards Recap

"WALL-E" was victorious in the Animated Feature Film category at this year's Academy Awards. Congrats to Andrew Stanton & the rest of the Pixar team on this win! Other winners at this year's Oscars, which include the late Heath Ledger, can be viewed HERE (though I wouldn't recommend it). Beyonce came through with that surprise performance during the ceremony, which was a salute to musicals that also included host Hugh Jackman, "Mamma Mia'"s Amanda Seyfried, & "High School Musical'"s Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens:

2009 Kids' Choice Award Nominees Announced

The nominees for Nickelodeon's 2009 Kids' Choice Awards have been announced. Beyonce grabbed two & The Pussycat Dolls nabbed one, while such movies as "WALL-E," "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," & "Kung Fu Panda" were also nominated. See a full list of nominees HERE. The show airs Saturday, March 28th @ 8/7c.

"WALL-E" received six nominations for the 2009 Academy Awards, which ties "Beauty & The Beast'"s record for most nominations for an animated film. Joining "WALL-E" in the Best Animated Feature category are "Kung Fu Panda" & "Bolt." Disney/Pixar's "Presto" was also nominated in the Best Animated Short Film category. New Stuff Tuesday

Today is a really cool day for new releases! First up is Beyonce's third album I Am... Sasha Fierce. Featuring the singles "If I Were A Boy" & "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," Beyonce's new album got a great review from me & has sparked the interest of no less than 36% of you (the actual number is more, but those Archies mean business!) Also being released today is Disney/Pixar's latest movie "WALL-E." I don't think it's too early to say that "WALL-E" is my favorite movie of the year, so give it a shot & buy it by clicking the cover above.

2009 People's Choice Award Nominees Announced

Alicia Keys & Rihanna lead the music category of the 2009 People's Choice Award nominees with three each. Other nominees include Jordin Sparks & Fergie, Britney Spears in the television category for her stint on How I Met Your Mother, &, in the movie category, "Kung Fu Panda" & "WALL-E." Voting for the awards occurs HERE & the show airs on January 7th.

The Caffeine Patch: WALL-E Super Bowl Ad Featuring Woody And Buzz!

During Super Bowl XLII, in between all that football mess, there were a select few decent moments. Or at least one, which came in the form of a new TV spot for Disney/Pixar's upcoming film "WALL-E," which hits theaters June 27, 2008. This will be their 9th movie together. I quite enjoyed this spot, especially since it featured, to my surprise, "Toy Story" characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear! I can't wait to see it.
