Rasheeda ft. Cherish "Don't Let Him Get Away" Video Premiere

"Don't Let Him Get Away," featuring Cherish, is the new single off Rasheeda's latest album Certified Hot Chick. Guess this clarifies those 'Fallon & Felisha' rumors: It IS just the two of them, but they're still calling themselves Cherish. They're in their element here, singing the hook... exactly where Ashanti should've stayed. As for Rasheeda, who else has a newfound appreciation for Nicki Minaj?

Cherish Twins Form Duo

Somehow, the four sisters that make up Cherish have split up professionally, allowing twins Fallon & Felisha to form their own duo. Their first single, "Infected," can be heard HERE. Considering the lackluster performance of Cherish's sophomore album The Truth, it comes as no surprise that the group is no more. However, I'm not sure what these two are expecting, considering their sound isn't exactly anything different. I, for one, have always liked these girls though & will continue to support them.

This week, Death Cab For Cutie nabbed their first #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Narrow Stairs. Continuing the trend of disappointing outcomes for R&B efforts, Cherish debuted at a lowly #40 with only 13,000 copies of their sophomore album The Truth sold. Ryan Cabrera's The Moon Under Water debuted, if at all, outside the top 100 albums. On the singles front, Lil' Wayne's "Lollipop" reclaimed the #1 slot on the Hot 100 chart.

New Music Tuesday

Out this week are Ryan Cabrera's third album The Moon Under Water & Cherish's sophomore effort The Truth. Both can be streamed HERE. I went out & bought Ryan's CD, as I have yet to be disappointed by him, & it is well worth it. Cherish's album is a decent effort, but nothing to write home about. The CD, which features singles "Killa", featuring Yung Joc, & "Amnesia", can be previewed HERE. The girls stepped up their game with this effort! I must admit that I don't hate "Killa" quite as much as I used to &, as I've said before, I dig "Amnesia". "I Ain't Trippin'" sounds promising, as do many of the midtempos on the album, though they are kinda sounding the same. Still, Cherish is probably the most talented girl group out there right now.

"Amnesia" is the second single off Cherish's sophomore album The Truth, which is set to drop Tuesday (May 13th). I must say that this is a much-improved single choice. I've loved this track since the first time I heard it. That said, the video's pretty dull. Does their label just not have any money or what? Anyway, I do have a question: Is that the same girl singing lead the whole time or are there 2 (the twins?) doing it?
