As I Am
Notbroken
The Goo Goo Dolls performed a pair of tracks off their latest album Something For The Rest Of Us recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Not their best, but I like the songs.
We all know & pretty much love their hit "Iris" from all the way back in 1998, but for me, it was with their 2006 album Let Love In that the Goo Goo Dolls could officially call me a fan. Gorgeous tunes like "Stay With You", "Better Days", & the title track are simply undeniable! Thus, my anticipation has grown over the past four years substantially for their follow-up & it arrives with Something For The Rest Of Us.The Goo Goo Dolls took to Dancing With The Stars to perform a medley of their mega-hit "Iris" & new single "Notbroken", which is not surprising, considering it was the top-selling single song on their new album Something For The Rest Of Us the week it was released. The songs also sounded good together... although those harmonies kinda ruined it.
Usher "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love"
Goo Goo Dolls - Medley
On the America's Got Talent finale, Usher continued his post-VMA repitition with a third performance of "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love". Yay... when is he going to perform "Hot Tottie"?! Also, the Goo Goo Dolls gave an excellent performance of (the random..?) "Slide" & their latest single "Home".
The Goo Goo Dolls performed the first single "Home" off their new album Something For The Rest Of Us on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night. Solid performance.

The Goo Goo Dolls drop their first album in four years Something For The Rest Of Us today. If their first single "Home" is anything to go by, this should be another winner from the band, so click HERE or on the widget on your right to get it (at a low price)!
"Home" is the first single off the Goo Goo Dolls' upcoming album Something For The Rest Of Us (August 31st). The last video for this song was just a promotional one (thank goodness) & this is more like it! At least the band is in it... I can't wait for the album!
The Goo Goo Dolls have set an August 31st release date for their new album Something For The Rest Of Us. The band has also revealed the tracklisting for the album, which is provided below:
The Goo Goo Dolls go the simple route with the cover art for their forthcoming album Something For The Rest Of Us, which comes out in July. Works for me! They also just premiered their lead single "Home", which you can listen to below. It makes me happy.
The Goo Goo Dolls are currently prepping for the release of their next album. Titled Something For The Rest Of Us, the album is due to be completed in February & set for release in late spring. The band has already performed a couple of the album's tracks, "The Sweetest Lie" & "As I Am," for a special that will air Christmas Day. For one, I'm loving that album title. The more it sinks in that the general public couldn't be bothered by the presence of actual talent from actual artists on the radio, the more I cherish the real music that gets released by talented folks such as these. Also, I loved their last album Let Love In, so I look forward to hearing them again in 2010.Considering what I said earlier today about recognizing talent, here is another example. I'm not quite sure how new this video is, but I thought I would share the latest single "Real" from the Goo Goo Dolls, which was recorded for the Olympics. The video is simple, but the song is excellent.
