It has been announced that the second Toy Story Toon & follow-up to "Hawaiian Vacation" is entitled "Small Fry" & will accompany "The Muppets" in theaters on November 23rd! Also, check out short descriptions for two upcoming Pixar movies:

The Caffeine Patch: Toy Story "Hawaiian Vacation" Sneak Peek + More

Accompanying "Cars 2" in theaters this summer will be the very first short film spinoff of the "Toy Story" films entitled "Hawaiian Vacation". Check out a 30-second sneak peek of the short above. Mood: Giddy! Takin' me back to the MySpace days... Catch "Hawaiian Vacation" in 3D on June 24th.

In related news, "Toy Story 3" won the Best Animated Feature Oscar on Sunday! In addition, Randy Newman took home the Best Original Song award for "We Belong Together" from the movie. Congrats Pixar & co!

The Caffeine Patch: Toy Story 3 "USPS" Commercial

Disney is going above & beyond with the promotional campaign for the new Pixar film "Toy Story 3" before it hits theaters on June 18th. The characters we all know & love are currently being featured in a commercial for the United States Postal Service. I love how Pixar went all out & actually created an ad, rather than just having the USPS use a few scenes from the movie.

Pixar has teamed up with Aflac once again, as they did with "Up", for a new commercial starring the characters of "Toy Story 3". I couldn't resist. Pixar has launched a totally awesome viral marketing campaign for "Toy Story 3", which hits theaters on June 18th, centered around the new character Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear. For those who (are crazy &) haven't seen the brand new trailer for "Toy Story 3" on the big screen in 3D, here's the official HQ online premiere! Words cannot begin to describe how greatly I am anticipating this film, but I definitely recommend that you watch the trailer. If that's not enough, rather than waiting for the movie's release on June 18th, 2010, you can go check out the Toy Story 3D Double Feature that is currently in theaters & just got extended (for probably an extra week)!

A series of all-new posters featuring several Toy Story characters to help promote June 18th of next year's epic release of "Toy Story 3" has been unveiled. Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex, & Hamm each gets their own poster. These look amazing! I'm especially hyped about them today because I went to see the Toy Story 3D Double Feature again, which I highly, highly recommend you do before it disappears Friday.

They aren't kidding about that 'teaser' business either. Here is "Toy Story 3'"s official teaser poster & guess what? It's all they need anyway! Opening June 18th, 2010, is "Toy Story 3" AKA the reason I will be living in my local theater that day.

The Caffeine Patch: Toy Story 3D Double Feature Trailer + More

Check out the trailer promoting the 3D double feature of "Toy Story" 1 & 2, which hits theaters for two weeks on October 2nd. It's similar to the "Toy Story 3" teaser, but I'm fine with that because I'm way too excited about this whole situation to begin with! I was sad though because I wanted to see this trailer in 3D as it is meant to be seen, so I went to see "G-Force," which it's supposed to be attached to, but it wasn't shown (simply because my theater is dumb, I'm sure). In related news, the poster for this double feature is popping up in theaters around the country, but an HQ pic of it has yet to hit the net. As a consolation, HERE is a photo of the poster. Ooo!

It was originally reported that "Toy Story" would be released in theaters in 3D this October, while "Toy Story 2" would hit theaters in 3D the following February. In an exciting turn of events, Disney has opted to instead release the two films as a 3D double feature on October 2nd! This can only mean one thing: For the entire two-week engagement, I will live at my local movie theater!

The Caffeine Patch: Massive Pixar Update!

Pixar recently announced their release schedule through the year 2012, which will include some previously unannounced projects. Also, starting in 2009, with May 29th's "Up," Pixar will release all of their films in Disney Digital 3D. The previously unannounced films include "Newt," which is set for release in the summer of 2011, followed by "The Bear & The Bow," which is due out Christmas 2011, & "Cars 2" (Pixar's first non-"Toy Story" sequel), Pixar's summer 2012 release. Hey, this may be a long time away, but it's not like you didn't wanna know. Here's Pixar's full release schedule from 2008 through 2012:

The Caffeine Patch: 3 Toy Story Movies. 3 3D Releases.

Imo, probably THE most exciting news possible was announced today. In anticipation of the release of Toy Story 3 in Disney Digital 3D on June 18, 2010, Disney/Pixar will theatrically re-release both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 ... in 3D as well! As the Toy Story films are my absolute favorite movies, and have been for years, as dorky as that might be, I couldn't imagine being more hyped about pretty much anything, especially movie-wise. The release dates for the first 2 movies are as follows:

Toy Story 2: 3D
February 12, 2010

Though it may be a long way away, is this not incredibly amazing? 3D Revival, more power to ya!
