Celine Dion gave birth to healthy fraternal twin boys on Saturday at 11:11 AM & 11:12 AM. The twins, who have yet to be named, weighed in at 5 lbs., 10 oz. & 5 lbs., 4 oz. Despite giving birth via C-section, the 42-year-old singer's new bundles of joy were born premature, so they will spend the next few days in the hospital. It's been a bumpy road to get to this point for Celine & her family, so I want to congratulate them & wish them all the best!

Alongside the DVD release of her documentary "Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World," Celine Dion will release her "Taking Chances World Tour: The Concert" in its entirety on May 11th. The DVD/CD release, cover art for which is featured above, will include the 80-minute show as filmed in Boston. Celine's really trying to empty my pockets come mid-May, but her talent more than justifies purchasing both of these exciting releases! (Especially since I still haven't seen "Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World" because, once again, they didn't bring it to where I live. SMH)As you may have heard, Quincy Jones & Lionel Richie gathered 81 acts on February 1st to remake "We Are The World" for Haiti in the same studio where the original was recorded 25 years ago. With the help of producers Wyclef Jean, Rickey Minor, & RedOne, artists such as Janet Jackson, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, India.Arie, Melanie Fiona, Mya, Keri Hilson, Brandy, Pink, Jordin Sparks, Celine Dion, Katharine McPhee, Usher, Kanye West, Fergie, Mary J. Blige, & Toni Braxton took part in this piece of history. It even features Michael Jackson! The final result can be viewed above & I think it came out pretty well. Could've given some solos to Brandy & Jordin Sparks instead of Justin Bieber & She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, but you can't always win. Just gotta remember it's all for a good cause! Celine Dion is set to reside in Las Vegas for another three years beginning on March 15, 2011. She will be returning to the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace that was build for her five-year "A New Day..." show, which ran through 2007. Celine, who's coming off her "Taking Chances" world tour, plans to have a full orchestra-accompanied show inspired by the romance of classic Hollywood movies. I wish I could've seen her original show live, but for anyone else who has the DVD, you know her new one is gonna be quite a spectacle! Speaking of which, Celine's documentary "Celine Through The Eyes Of The World" based on her recent world tour will be playing in theaters nationwide throughout the latter half of February... but, of course(!), not in my area, so if you go, enjoy it for the both of us![Source]

This year's Grammys are all set to give Michael Jackson a tribute fit for the King of Pop. They will be broadcasting a 3D clip set to Michael's hit "Earth Song" that was created for use in his "This Is It" concert tour. Accompanying the video will be Usher, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson, & Jennifer Hudson (who was previously speculated to be a performer & now we know in what way). It is noted that although part of this clip was shown in the "This Is It" film, the entire video will be broadcast in 3D at the Grammys. If you don't have any 3D glasses, you can pick some up before the show at your local Target. In addition, Jackson will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony. The 2010 Grammys air Sunday, January 31st, @ 8/7c!
Turns out, as is often a reality for IVF users, Celine Dion's recent attempts to get pregnant have failed. She & her husband Rene haven't given up trying, however, to conceive their second child. News like this is always hard to hear, but I wish them courage & success as they move forward.

For the first time ever last night, the Grammy nominations were announced in a live concert event that included some wonderful performances. Mariah Carey performed her very own holiday classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," while Christina Aguilera gave a tribute to Nina Simone by singing "I Love You Porgy" & Celine Dion performed Janis Ian's "At Seventeen." While the hour-long special featured very few nominee announcements & was a waste of time that I suggest they not turn into a tradition, at least we got some top-notch performances out of it.
Celine Dion performed a gorgeous rendition of her song "My Love," which is most recently taken from the compilation My Love: Essential Collection (out now), on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Pure talent at its finest, folks.
Another day, another random album appearance for Katharine McPhee. I'm only kidding, as I'll always take what I can get, but Katharine McPhee will, among others, be featured on the new album from David Foster called Hit Man: David Foster & Friends (November 11th). The collection will cover David, a pianist, playing during his "David Foster & Friends" concert earlier this year. Another Celine Dion hits collection is set to be released on October 28th. The regular edition, entitled My Love: Essential Collection [cover art to the left], will include 15 of the singer's biggest hits as well as a live version of her song "My Love" & the previously unreleased track "There Comes A Time." An 'ultimate' edition will be a 2-disc set with nine additional tracks including the rarities "Dance With My Father," "(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman," & "I Knew I Loved You."
