This is the alternate version of Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)" video that comes with the Target-exclusive version of her new album 4. It's quite alternate, as there's almost no choreography. I don't like it better, but I do like it!

Billboard Update
^#1 Album #1 Single^
Jill Scott lands atop the Billboard 200 album chart with The Light Of The Sun, while Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack, & Nayer's "Give Me Everything" tops the Hot 100 singles chart this week. Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Nicki Minaj jumps 8-5 with "Super Bass", while Christina Aguilera & Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" debuts @ #8 with 213,000 copies in first-week sales. Meanwhile, Britney Spears surges 89-29 & earns the Digital Gainer title with "I Wanna Go".

Lil' Eddie ft. Ameriie "Guardian Angel" Video Premiere
"Guardian Angel", featuring Ameriie, is the first single off Lil' Eddie's second album Already Yours. Lil' Eddie is a fantastic singer/songwriter that is signed to the same label as Mya. I may be late with this, but I love the song & had to share!

Christina & Beverly McClellan "Beautiful"
The Judges "Under Pressure"
This week was finale week on The Voice & Christina Aguilera took the stage--TWICE(!), once with her last remaining contestant & once (again) with her fellow judges. Her "Beautiful" duet with Beverly was surprisingly decent. (At least...) Also, Christina will be back next season along with all three of the other judges!

Brian McKnight "Just Me" Cover & Tracklisting
Brian McKnight is releasing a double album entitled Just Me on July 12th. The first disc will be a new studio album consisting of the following 10 tracks:
1. Temptation
2. Fall 5.0
3. One Mo' Time
4. Gimme Yo' Love
5. Husband 2.1
6. Without You
7. Just Lemme Know
8. End & Beginning With You
9. Careless Whisper
10. Just Me
Um, what's with all the decimals? Anyway, the second disc, which I admit I'm a bit more excited about, is a live album. Check out what makes up that 30-track disc HERE. This man is incredibly talented, but has rarely lived up to his potential; he is pretty incredible live though!

Kelly Rowland "Here I Am" Tracklisting
At long last, Kelly Rowland has revealed the tracklisting for her third album Here I Am (July 26th). Check out what made the rather short cut below:
1. I'm Dat Chick
2. Work It Man (ft. Lil' Playy)
3. Motivation (ft. Lil' Wayne)
4. Lay It On Me (ft. Big Sean)
5. Feelin' Me Right Now
6. Turn It Up
7. All Of The Night (ft. Rico Love)
8. Keep It Between Us
9. Commander
10. Down For Whatever
Wasn't expecting to see "Rose Colored Glasses" or "Grown Woman"... interesting to see "Commander" on there though (not that I'm complaining... I like the song!). I'm glad that "I'm Dat Chick" made the cut, but other than that, I'm just glad we haven't heard most of the album before! July 26th can't get here fast enough!

Run The World (Girls)
Beyonce extended her visit to France with two stellar performances on the finale of The X Factor. What more could you possibly need to convince you to get her new album 4 already!
Kelly Rowland "Here I Am (Deluxe Edition)" Details
The cover for the deluxe edition of Kelly Rowland's upcoming album Here I Am (July 26th) is to the left & I must say that I'm liking it a bit better than the standard. Good thing too because the deluxe is the version I'll be picking up, as it adds the two songs "Heaven & Earth" & "Each Other" as well as the pair of remixes "Motivation (Rebel Rock Remix ft. Lil' Wayne)" & "Commander (Urban Remix ft. Nelly)" to the 10-track standard set. (Never fear, I'll be posting the album's tracklisting momentarily.) Not terribly generous there, Universal Motown... but I'll take it--I sure like that urban remix of "Commander"!

The song "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over", which MJB opened Sunday's BET Awards with, is the second single off his forthcoming album We The Best Forever (July 19th), a date you will be VERY familiar with--whether you know/remember why or not--if you watch the entire making-of clip above.

David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida "Where Them Girls At" Video Premiere
"Where Them Girls At", featuring Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida, is the first single off David Guetta's upcoming album Nothing But The Beat (August 30th). I wasn't sure about the weird bubble formations at first, but as soon as Nicki showed up, I was sold! Could've used a little more HB... love the song though!
Kelly Rowland "Here I Am" Cover
Kelly Rowland has unveiled the cover art for her third solo album Here I Am (July 26th)! Maybe a little too Leo DiCaprio in "Titanic" for my taste, but not bad! I'm so excited for this project!

The 2011 BET Awards Recap
Kelly Rowland & Trey Songz "Motivation (Remix)"
Beyonce - Medley
Mary J. Blige, Anita Baker, Jadakiss, & DJ Khaled - Medley
Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, & Rick Ross - Medley
Kelly Rowland had her chance to shine last night at the 2011 BET Awards. Skip the first three minutes of Trey's foolishness in the above clip to get to Ms. Kelly WORKIN' IT! From Glastonbury, Beyonce also shined with "Best Thing I Never Had" & especially my personal favorite "End Of Time". Mary J. Blige brought out Anita Baker for her medley, which also included a promising new collaboration with Jadakiss & DJ Khaled. Alicia Keys sang her songs in A minor leftover-for-a-reason "Typewriter", was unfortunately joined by Bruno Mars for "A Woman's Worth", brought out Rick Ross for some godforsaken reason, & finished things off with "Fallin'". Nicki Minaj was on-hand to pick up the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award & Dirty Money accepted Best Group. Meanwhile, Rihanna won (only) Best Female Artist & the Best Movie award went to "For Colored Girls". To view the other "winners," click HERE.

Mr. Vegas adds Gyptian to "Pum Pum Shorts", the remix to his "Boy Shorts" collaboration with Teairra Mari that can be found on her latest mixtape Now Or Never. Tacky video, but that was a given, considering the song's subject matter. I think I actually liked the original better...

Adele was back in control of all things Billboard again last week--both the Billboard 200 album chart (21) & Hot 100 singles chart ("Rolling In The Deep"), where Nicki Minaj earned her first top 10 hit as a lead artist with a song that wasn't deemed good enough to make the cut on the standard edition of her album "Super Bass", which moved 11-10.

Ashanti Album Update
Ashanti has been trying out "so many different sounds" during the recording process for her fifth studio album, she revealed on Twitter recently. Two songs we can expect to make the final cut are "Paradise" & "She Can't", while the first single--which we can count on to have some tempo!--should arrive "sooner than you think." Ashanti's not my favorite, but she's certainly capable of making some really good music.
