Couldn't pass up the opportunity to share with you this hilarious clip of David Archuleta singing Christmas carols to the MTV staffers with their in-house Idol guru Jim Cantiello. Yes, in October. I love that David embraces the silliness of his Christmas music being released so early. That, of course, is no excuse not to pick up his excellent album Christmas From The Heart now (review coming in November!).

Looking forward to the review. I think this is a really great Christmas album with powerful vocals that were meant for a project like this. Other musicians do Christmas CD's for fun money; this is what it is all about for Archulata and you can tell. Have a real good listen to Pat a Pan and Riu Riu Chiu in French and Spanish respectively and tell me you don't want to hear those two songs live. I was very impressed...
Wish I was there to go Christmas caroling with David & Jim...it looked like so much fun! Jim...loved your enthusiasm about interviewing David Archuleta and supporting his amazing Christmas from the Heart album! I just gave 3 of the albums to friends for a birthday present tonight! David's voice just soars throughout the whole album...love David's soulful voice. :-)

Thanks Bring Da Beat Back for posting this. I live in Europe and I'm always looking for bits and pieces about David. He is to die for! Talent, a mind of his own and feels comfortable with who he is! Rare for an artist who feel they need to be carbon copies.
This video was hilarious and David was wayyyy cute and fun as always! I appreciate your promoting the album. I love it! His voice just soars and is so touching and tender. I can't stop listening. It's my favorite Christmas CD ever! I've got it on repeat even in October!
