In anticipation of her new album E=MC², due April 15th, Mariah Carey will be making a number of high-profile appearances. In addition to her previously announced April 9th appearance on American Idol's special event "Idol Gives Back," Mariah will mentor the contestants on April 15th (the day of the album's release) & perform on Idol's results show the next night (April 16th). Also, Mariah will appear on Oprah April 14th. Wow. Mariah is definitely going to own 2008. Sooo exciting!UPDATE: As confirmed by her official site, Mariah's BET Special, in which she performs new songs from E=MC² & some of her biggest hits, will air on April 16th, the day following the album's release & apparently the same day as her Idol appearance. What a Mariah-ful day it will be (literally)!
