Katharine McPhee has landed a role opposite Debra Messing (Will & Grace) in a new musical pilot for NBC entitled Smash. Executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, the show is about a group of people who come together to put on a Broadway musical inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Sounds like a version of Glee with substance that I could get on board! Let's just hope this pilot works out better than Kat's last one (The Pink House).[Source]
