Adam Lambert To Release Remix EP + More

Adam Lambert is releasing a digital EP entitled Remixes that will include (you guessed it!) remixes of the first two singles off his debut album For Your Entertainment as well as the international bonus track "Voodoo." Remixes will be available April 9th (that's Friday!) on Adam's official site & April 13th on all other digital outlets. The tracklisting for the EP is below. This is definitely exciting. I'm personally more interested in the "For Your Entertainment" mixes than the "Whataya Want From Me" ones, but it sounds like a cool set overall. I also like the cover art (even if it's not exactly the prettiest picture of him), as it's appropriate.

1. Whataya Want From Me (Fonzerelli Electro House Club Mix)
2. Whataya Want From Me (Brad Walsh A Vivir Mix)
3. Whataya Want From Me (Jason Nevins Electrotek Extended Mix)
4. For Your Entertainment (Bimbo Jones Vocal Mix)
5. For Your Entertainment (Brad Walsh Remix)
6. Voodoo

In related news, Adam Lambert will not only perform ("Whataya Want From Me" ... *sigh*) on American Idol next week... he'll also be serving as the mentor for the remaining eight contestants! Correct me if I'm wrong, but is he not the first Idol alum to do this? I've always wondered why they didn't get former Idol contestants to mentor because not only are they more talented than a lot of previous mentors (see: this season...), but they know exactly what the judges are expecting & how the contestants can succeed on that particular stage. It may be a ratings stunt, but that sure doesn't stop me from being stoked! (Not that he has anything to work with... not that he'll say anything negative though...)
