Jennifer Hudson has gotten the ball rolling on her sophomore album. This past week, she hit the studio with Stargate & recorded three songs for the project. Also, back in September, she began working with likely-executive producer Ne-Yo. Here's what he had to say about the album:"[Jennifer] wants this one to be a lot more personal than the last one was. And she's had a lot of stuff to deal with personally. ... So we're gonna take all of these experiences & turn them into music."
It really is nice to hear that Jennifer is planning on getting more personal lyrically this time around. I'm sure it'll be a good outlet for her. Ne-Yo & Stargate aren't exactly my personal favorite producers, but I definitely am looking forward to another album from J-Hud.
