David Archuleta Covers "Prayer Of The Children" For Haiti

Because he's cool like that, David Archuleta was at the "Hope For Haiti Now" telethon to answer phones & while he was backstage, MTV caught up with him. With the cameras rolling, David Archuleta dedicated a cover of Kurt Bestor's "Prayer Of The Children" to all the kids suffering in Haiti, urging everyone to help out in whatever way possible. So sweet!

I first saw this yesterday and was so moved by David that I immediately donated. He inspired me more in under 2 minutes than 2h of the telethon. David is beautiful in everyway possible!

Gadh! This young man can touch a soul like no other! I going to donate again. Why didnt they have him sing this on the telethon. So glad so many artists are helping out. I watched the telethon and several of the srtist did a great job but this small acapella performance brought me to tears and when I looked on you tube I found the whole song he sang at his concert. If this doesnt melt your heart then maybe this will.

Because he's a sweetheart. David sings this song so well. When I saw him on his Christmas From The Heart tour, he sang this and it was so emotional. It nearly looked like he was crying, haha. But really, he totally feels the lyrics of the song and lives in it, you can tell he means it.
