After a London gig in March, Lily Allen will be taking a year or two off from recording & performing music. Publicly fed up with the industry, Allen will instead concentrate on starting her own record label & opening a fashion shop with her sister. Personally, I think Lily is too whiny for her own good because the industry has given her a way of life & her threats to quit music for good earlier this year were a slap in the face to the fans that support her. That said, I completely understand & respect her decision to take some time off to pursue other endeavors. She is human after all.[Source, Source]
