^#1 Album #1 Single^
Interesting pair they make, huh? Because old people are the only ones that still buy CDs, Barbra Streisand's Love Is The Answer tops this week's Billboard 200 album chart. In a close race for the top spot, Mariah Carey comes in at #3 with Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel after first week sales of 168,000 copies, which earn her the #1 slot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, so congrats on a great first week, Mariah! Jay Sean, with a lil' help from Lil' Wayne, will now always hold a special place in my heart for taking over the peak position from The Black-Eyed Peas on this week's Hot 100 singles chart with "Down." Also, Kris Allen debuts at #89 with his new single "Live Like We're Dying," which is some 87 positions below the debut of some Idol runner-up's first single from last year... just sayin'. (I know he's only had since Friday, but I don't care. He won & he hasn't even reached the top 20 on iTunes.) Congrats anyway!
