Sony Pictures Entertainment has secured the rights to release footage from Michael Jackson's "This Is It" rehearsals theatrically as a feature film. Fans will have the opportunity to watch Michael "in high definition with state-of-the-art digital sound" &, during a few select sequences, in 3D. The movie, which will benefit the Michael Jackson Family Trust, opens on October 30th. Am I the only one super excited about how soon that date is?! I just hope the recordings are quality enough to do justice to MJ's last big production, though simply the fact that they put forth the money to film some of the rehearsals in 3D (hopefully) speaks for itself.[Source, Source]
