Mary J. Blige has announced that the recently leaked, Drake-featured track "The One" is the lead single off her next album, which is due in November. For the new album, MJB has decided to introduce to world to "Crazy Mary," hence the autotune usage. That's about all that's known at the moment, but it's enough to get me excited! As you can tell, I love "The One," & as far as Mary using autotune is concerned, I think she used it properly because it only adds a little something extra to the song; she isn't relying on it to actually be her singing voice. I'm also loving the idea of Mary switching things up a bit again because it feels about time & growth is a good thing![Source]
