Brian McKnight is putting the finishing touches on his first studio album in three years. He is planning to include tracks ranging from his usual, such as likely first single "What I've Been Waiting For," to more experimental, like a reggae-feeling one. Also set for inclusion are duets with Stevie Wonder on "Without You" & Jill Scott on "More Than Just A Thing." I haven't exactly followed Brian's career closely, but he's an incredible talent whom I've always especially loved on "Whenever You Call," his 1998 duet with Mariah Carey. This album does, however, seem to be shaping up to be pretty impressive. In related news, Brian is working on a late-night talk show that will air weekends on The CW beginning September 18th.
