Amerie has announced that her Def Jam debut album In Love & War will be released in August & preceded by "Why R U," the video for which is set to premiere on Monday, June 8th. For the album, Amerie has been working with Sean Garrett, Teddy Riley, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love, Eric Hudson (Brandy, Kanye West), & The Buchanans, who produced "Why R U," which has been growing on me, so I'm anxious to see what all Amerie has up her sleeve for this era.UPDATE: We now have an exact date! In Love & War comes out on August 11th.
