As was teased to us all the way back in September, Jennifer Hudson & Fantasia, as well as Mario, performed at An Evening Of Stars: Tribute To Patti LaBelle, which was finally televised recently. First off, I feel the need to congratulate all of these fine vocalists for wonderful performances. Now, Jennifer Hudson was absolutely flawless. It's been too long, unfortunately, since we last heard her voice. Her rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was mindblowing. Fantasia brought down the house with "Lady Marmalade" & showcased her vocal chops once again with "Somebody Loves You Baby." As for Mario, his version of "If You Asked Me To" was phenomenal also.
