David Archuleta is set to make his acting debut on the Nickelodeon TV series iCarly. He will, however, play himself in the episode, entitled "iRocked The Vote," which will shoot on Thursday. His episode of iCarly will air next spring. More importantly, his self-titled debut album is set to be released on November 11th. It's too bad that he has to be on a show like that, but it makes complete sense.[Source]

This is a great opportunity for David to branch out. He appeals to such a broad audience that the teens, I'm sure, will love him in this gig. He's one heckuva singer, and I'm looking forward to buying his debut album on 11/11, as well as seeing him on iCarly in the spring. Way to go David!
