One of my favorite singers, Toni Braxton, has signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records. While competing on Dancing With The Stars, Toni will begin recording her debut for the label, which is set to drop in early 2009. This will follow her brilliant, yet underrated 2005 effort Libra as well as her recent Vegas show "Toni Braxton: Revealed." I'm ecstatic about this news! This would explain why Toni's planned release for this year didn't end up happening, but I'm totally cool with that now that she has a major label behind her.
