John Legend also performed on last night's finale of Canadian Idol, where he sang his new single "Green Light," the first off his upcoming album Evolver (October 28th). Unfortunately, Andre 3000 wasn't there, so his parts were taken over by ... one of Legend's backups. Anyway, John sounded good, but I'll have to wait & hear another song or two from his new album to determine whether or not he's really grabbed my attention with this new project. Also, I could have sworn the host introduced his as Shawn Legend...
