At a press conference, MTV revealed that the one & only Christina Aguilera has been added to the lineup of performers at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. Christina will be singing her new single "Keeps Gettin' Better" (off the similarly-titled hits collection, due November 11th) for her first performance since giving birth to her son in January. Here's what she had to say about the performance:"You're going to get a first look & a first listen at my new image & my new sound," she said. "The last album, the style & sound was about vintage glam — this one is all about the future."
Also, in addition to her own performance of "Disturbia," Rihanna will perform her collaboration with T.I., "Live Your Life," with him. This year's show, which airs Sunday, is shaping up to be a hot one!
