Finally, Music World Music/Columbia have released some details regarding Beyonce's upcoming third studio album. The as-yet-untitled project will be released on November 18th & will be preceded by the October 7th radio release of the two singles "If I Were A Boy" & "Single Ladies." Every track on the album, described as "her most personal, reflective, & revelatory collection to-date," was either co-written or co-produced by Beyonce. Also, the only confirmed contributor so far is Justin Timberlake, who, interestingly enough, will perform alongside Bee during "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" on tonight's Fashion Rocks special. While I can't particularly remember the whole two simultaneous singles thing working out for anyone ever, I am sooo looking forward to new Beyonce! In related news, Beyonce's movie "Obsessed" now has a release date: February 27th.
UPDATE: Rap-Up has learned the names of the producers of Beyonce's two new singles. "If I Were A Boy" was produced by Toby Gad (Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry"), while the successful pairing of The-Dream & Tricky Stewart is behind "Single Ladies." This news isn't helping October 7th come any sooner (though we will hopefully get a leak before then!)
