Several Idol alums were on hand to wish Americans a happy Independence Day. Jordin was great, but the highlight for me was seeing Katharine McPhee perform again ... I miss her.

She'll be doing promo for her album, due by the end of the year. You'll have chances to see her then. Until that starts up, you'll have to be content with seeing her movie "The House Bunny" August 22nd.
