First '08 MTV VMA Nominees Announced

The first nominees for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards were announced today in the following categories. Fans can vote for the nominees in select categories each week, as announced on FNMTV, & as each new pair of categories is picked, the nominees for the previous two are announced on FNMTV as well. Here are the picks for the first two categories:

Best Female Video

• Mariah Carey "Touch My Body"
• Jordin Sparks "No Air"
• Britney Spears "Piece Of Me"
• Rihanna "Take A Bow"
• Katy Perry "I Kissed A Girl"

Best Male Video

• Usher "Love In This Club"
• Flo Rida "Low"
• Chris Brown "With You"
• Lil' Wayne "Lollipop"
• T.I. "No Matter What"

Congrats to Mariah Carey, as well as Jordin Sparks & Britney Spears(?), for the well-deserved nominations, but I am really hoping "Touch My Body" takes that one. As far as the males go, here's to Keri Hilson leading Usher to a win for "Love In This Club."
