After the massive success of "We Belong Together," The Emancipation Of Mimi was re-released to include this ballad that became Mariah Carey's 17th #1 hit, "Don't Forget About Us." Mariah looked beautiful when she opened the 2005 American Music Awards with it & she sang it well in what was a cool performance. I would like to note that not all of these will be Mariah Carey, but she's had a number of great performances, especially during her Mimi period. I would also like to apologize for this being only the second one of these in five weeks. I plan to continue with them each weekend. Anyway, look out for Mariah's follow-up to Mimi, E=MC², which features the hot new single "Touch My Body," to drop April 15th.
