Preview Jazmine Sullivan's "Fearless" & The Pussycat Dolls' "Doll Domination"

YAY! Jazmine Sullivan's debut album Fearless may not hit stores till Tuesday, but the next best (legal) thing has just occurred. Snippets of every track from Fearless can be heard now HERE. I'm so excited! This CD sounds unbelievably incredible. People, get ready: Jazmine's coming! (It should be noted that the tracks on the latter part of the album have apparently been switched around a bit from the tracklisting I posted, but they are all the same songs.)

For those who have yet to hear The Pussycat Dolls' new album Doll Domination via extraordinary means, snippets of every track from the CD can also be heard HERE. I am really digging PCD this time around. Doll Domination also hits store this coming Tuesday, September 23rd.

Ryan Leslie ft. Cassie & Fabolous "Addiction" Alternate Video Premiere

Here's another video *SMH* for Ryan Leslie's latest single "Addiction," which features Cassie & Fabolous, off his upcoming self-titled album. On a positive note, this video is miles ahead of the other one. Something actually happens in this one & it involves Jaslene Gonzalez (America's Next Top Model). Still, however, Cassie was too busy doing all that nothing that she's done since Ryan's last video for this song premiered to be in this version either, though Fabolous does appear again (lucky us.) I think it's pretty sad that they got a Cassie look-a-like for this version when they had a (sorta) famous person to begin with, but whatever.

Idol Alumni Release Christmas Albums

Elliott Yamin has set October 7th as the release date for his full-length Christmas album My Kind Of Holiday. It will include the material featured on his EP Sounds Of The Season: The Elliott Yamin Holiday Collection that was sold exclusively at Target last year as well as new songs. My Kind Of Holiday, however, will be available everywhere. [Pre-order HERE]

Also releasing an extended version of their previous holiday material is Mandisa. Her Christmas album It's Christmas will be released on October 14th & will feature both new material as well as the songs that were on her EP Christmas Joy from last year. [Pre-order HERE] Is it really already time to worry about this stuff?

The Pussycat Dolls continued their European promotion by performing their first single "When I Grow Up" again, this time on a show called This Morning. Their sophomore album Doll Domination is due September 23rd! Melody need not ever turn her mic on again.

Mariah Carey "The Ballads" Cover, Tracklisting

In what might be a new photo, Mariah Carey appears on the cover of the compilation CD "The Ballads," which is being released by her old Sony label on October 20th in the UK & January of next year in the US. The album is made up of (mostly) ballads from her Columbia &, surprisingly, Virgin (the record label...) days & the, imo, somewhat strange tracklisting (for the UK release at least) can be viewed below:

1. Hero
2. Vision Of Love
3. Without You
4. Always Be My Baby
5. My All
6. How Much (ft. Usher)
7. Dreamlover
8. Thank God I Found You/Make It Last Remix (ft. Nas & Joe)
9. The Roof
10. One Sweet Day (w/ Boyz II Men)
11. Anytime You Need A Friend
12. I'll Be There (ft. Trey Lorenz)
13. I Still Believe
14. Reflections (Care Enough)
15. Open Arms
16. Against All Odds (ft. Westlife)
17. Endless Love (w/ Luther Vandross)
18. All I Want For Christmas Is You (Bonus Track)

Ashanti, Nelly, & Akon Perform "Body On Me" On Leno

Ashanti joined her boyfriend Nelly & Akon in performing Nelly's latest single "Body On Me," which is off his recently released album Brass Knuckles, on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night. I find it odd that the song is just now being released in this way, yet it has been out via Ashanti's The Declaration CD since June. Anyway, they did a decent job together, as it's rare to get three artists in the same place at the same time to help promote one of them.

Busta Rhymes Signs With Universal Motown

After reportedly being dropped from Interscope Records, Busta Rhymes has now signed with Universal Motown. His eighth studio album is due December 9th on the label. So, that's good for him, but does this mean that the material he was working on for his Blessed album has been scrapped? I really liked "Don't Touch Me (Throw Da Water On 'Em)," but it is Busta after all, so I guess he will serve up something else very special.

David Archuleta "Crush": Behind-The-Scenes

Check out David Archuleta on the set of his first music video for debut single "Crush" off his as-yet-untitled new album, due November 11th, where he gave ET a tour of the set. "Crush" is actually the #1 music video on iTunes right now (Click HERE to purchase.) Yay Archie!

Keri Hilson Performs "Energy" On 106 & Park

Keri Hilson (finally) performed her first single "Energy" taken from her oft-delayed debut album In A Perfect World... (November 4th) on 106 & Park, & gave a short interview following the performance. I've been dying to see Keri perform this one &, while I wish she'd have sung more of the song, she sounded great. During the interesting interview, Keri talks about working with Polow Da Don & Timbaland on her upcoming record as well as shooting videos for both "Superhuman" with Chris Brown & her own second single.

New Beyonce "Dereon" Ad

Beyonce demonstrates her way to sell a purse in this new print ad for her family's Dereon line (which is brought to you by, yet not the same as, House Of Dereon. *SMH*) Can't wait for Beyonce's new album to drop on November 18th!

Christina Milian Album Update + More

Christina Milian is putting the finishing touches on her as-yet-untitled new album, which is set to drop in 2009 via MySpace Records. The first single, which will debut this month, is a ballad called "Us Against The World." On the production side, Christina has worked on her new album with Cool & Dre, the team behind most of her last album ('06's So Amazin'), & Mad Scientist. Kanye West produced & is featured on a track, while Pitbull has also recorded a feature. Check out what Christina has to say about her upcoming project:

“It’s very feminine. I find that there’s been a lot of maturity in my vocals. [So Amazin’] was a little more urban-pop, so this one is pop-urban-international.”

Sounds intriguing! I regret to inform you, however, that Christina will soon appear in yet another "Bring It On" sequel entitled "Bring It On Cinco." (It stinks that she had to do that since her CW series "8 Days A Week" was scrapped.) This is in addition to next year's "The Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past," as previously reported, starring Matthew McConaughey & Jennifer Garner. Also, Christina will appear in this November's "Need For Speed UnderCover" video game. Get that money!

The Pussycat Dolls On GMTV

"When I Grow Up"

Interview

The Pussycat Dolls did some promotion across the pond for their forthcoming album Doll Domination, which hits stores next Tuesday (I highly recommend getting it!), by appearing & performing their first single "When I Grow Up" on GMTV. I haven't really been paying a whole lot of attention to it lately, but their performance of "When I Grow Up" really is quite impressive. They definitely deserve that VMA. Nicole gave us renewed hope for her solo album by revealing the title of one of its tracks: "I Think I'm In Love." Speaking of which, Lewis Hamilton is one lucky guy.

TRL Cancelled

After 10 years on the air, TRL will soon be ending its run on MTV. The countdown show will conclude sometime in November with a two-hour special on a Saturday. It will be replaced by FNMTV, which is set to return to MTV's Friday nights in November. Well, we knew it was coming. TRL is most definitely not what it used to be, but it's still sad.

RIP 1998-2008

Jordin Sparks Performs "No Air" On Australian Idol

Jordin Sparks, who is apparently huge in Australia, performed her hit single "No Air" off her self-titled debut album on Australian Idol. Once she found the key, she did a lovely job. I'm kinda wondering about the hair, but you just can't make Jordin ugly!

Michelle Williams ft. Flo Rida "We Break The Dawn (Pt. 2)" Video Premiere

Here's the music video for Michelle Williams' "We Break The Dawn (Pt. 2)," which features Flo Rida & is the remix to the first single off her upcoming album Unexpected (October 7th). If this is what they were planning to do with those two extra months they so desperately needed for more promo of Michelle's new album, then they made a big, fat mistake. They didn't re-shoot the video, which is for the version of the song they apparently needed for the urban appeal, & it doesn't feature Flo Rida--just giant words during his part. Yeah. Imagine: what if they actually considered promoting her radio-friendly second single "The Greatest" with a video?
