Nicole Scherzinger has signed on to host The X Factor alongside British TV personality Steve Jones when Simon Cowell brings the hit show from across the pond to FOX this fall. Set to judge are Cowell, L.A. Reid, & British pop star Cheryl Cole, with Paula Abdul in the final stages of signing on as the final judge. I know that by the time the season ends for Idol & The Voice that we'll be pretty tired of singing competitions, but especially once the fall rolls around, I'll be anxiously awaiting the premiere of The X Factor here. I have faith in their ability to find talent--hopefully this year, but if not, then in the next couple of years--& Lord knows we need Simon back on our television screens! Nicole is certainly an added bonus & it should give her recording career a nice boost as well.[Source, Source]
