Adam Lambert has just premiered "Better Than I Know Myself", the incredible Claude Kelly-penned lead single off his upcoming sophomore album Trespassing, which is set to be released on March 20th! Those Adam collaborated with on Trespassing include Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, & Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry's hit-making team) as well as Sam Sparro ("Voodoo"), Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa, & BC Jean. I certainly hope "Better Than I Know Myself", which hits iTunes on December 20th, is an indication of what's to come! That list of collaborators is pretty promising though.
Adam Lambert participated in a Queen tribute with the band themselves at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, belting out "The Show Must Go On", "We Will Rock You", & "We Are The Champions". Incredible job, Adam! I'm more than ready for his sophomore album!

Adam Lambert has revealed that he will receive an executive producer credit on his second album, which drops early next year with a single set for later this year. One song to look out for on the album is titled "Outlaws Of Love", while Adam also recently hit the studio with Pharrell Williams! I wish it were coming sooner, but... it's gonna be good, I can tell!
To the left is our first look at Mary J. Blige as Justice Charlier in the upcoming film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Rock Of Ages". Hitting theaters next year on June 1st, the Adam Shankman-directed movie co-stars Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, Malin Akerman, Russell Brand, Julianne Hough, Will Forte, & Paul Giamatti. That's quite a cast!

Adam Lambert's been all a-Twitter lately (you BET I prepared that!) about the process of recording his upcoming second album. Due in October/November, the project will likely include what becomes of recent writing sessions with Sia & Ferras, the latter having previously collaborated with Adam on "Aftermath". Adam's also spent some time in the studio recently with Ryan Tedder & Nikka Costa. With Ryan having done "Sleepwalker" on Adam's debut & the two aforementioned songs being my two favorites on the album, Mr. Lambert's sophomore effort sounds like it's shaping up nicely!
Today brings us a pair of releases from talents both originally introduced to us via American Idol! First up is Jennifer Hudson's sophomore album I Remember Me, which features the powerful first single "Where You At". Target's got a deluxe edition, now, so y'all go pick that'n up, ya hear?! Also, we have Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Live, the CD/DVD package of his first headlining tour. I wasn't able to see it live, so I'm especially thankful that I still have the chance to experience what I'm sure will be quite the spectacle!
So, first of all, let's talk about Wednesday. Lauren's gonna have to do better than karaoke if she's gonna win me over. Casey spoke... I was lost. Ashthon EARNED her elimination doing a godawful impersonation of Vonzell's *perfect* performance of the same song six years ago. Paul, as always, sounded like a bad James Blunt... I was confused. The performance of the week came from Pia, who proved herself to be even more talented than I thought she was judging from last week's performance, hitting Celine notes easily while simultaneously showing off her gorgeous tone--what the show's all about, people! James... was bad... I, uh... Haley, surprisingly enough, did LeAnn justice & I actually think blues-y country like that is a much better fit for her than the pop/rock that the judges are suggesting, not that she'd win me over either way. While it wasn't his strongest vocal showing, Jacob's voice still amazes me. Thia wasn't half bad until the arrangement switcharoo. Stefano lost me with... whatever that was. Karen did better than she got credit for. I'm not saying she blew me away, but her tone was gorgeous, you could tell it meant a lot to her to sing that song, & she's just so darn likeable! I'm no longer going to just accept Scotty for what he is (especially if DialIdol is to be believed) since he's decided he can sing any ol' country song because--& I don't even like him but--there's no comparison between you & Garth Brooks, kid! Naima embarassed herself... although I will say that after listening to her iTunes snippet, if she stuck to reggae, she might have something (but she won't).
Thursday resulted (heh) in an acoustic performance of "Aftermath" from Adam Lambert, which was good on his behalf, although it pales in comparison to the album version. Speaking of which, Adam is selling the Billboard remix of "Aftermath" HERE for charity. Not to take away from the cause, but the album version > the acoustic version > the remix. Also, Dirty Money performed on Idol again & I must say, I'm really starting to like this Skylar Grey character.

First up, we have Ciara's oft-delayed fourth album Basic Instinct. It really is an excellent body of work & includes the singles "Ride" featuring Ludacris, "Speechless", & "Gimmie Dat". Next is another belated arrival: Dirty Money's Last Train To Paris. On December 6th (yes, that's a Monday), Adam Lambert will release a digital EP entitled Acoustic Live! The 5-song set will include (you guessed it!) acoustic versions of "Whataya Want From Me", "Music Again", "Aftermath", "Soaked", & "Mad World". Yay for "Aftermath"! This should be pretty good. In related news, catch Adam on E! True Hollywood Story this Sunday, November 21st, @ 9/8c. Premature, sure, but Adam did a new interview for it!
We haven't seen much of Adam Lambert as he's been on tour lately, but he showed up on The X Factor in Australia to perform his latest single "If I Had You" off For Your Entertainment. Sounds like to me the tour has tired his vocal chords out a bit. :( It's still nice to see you again, Adam!
Because people like their white rappers no matter how bad their music is, Eminem tops the Billboard 200 album chart this week with Recovery. On the Hot 100 singles chart, Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg's "California Gurls" remains on top, while Eminem settles for a #2 debut with his Rihanna-assisted "Love The Way You Lie" following digital sales of 338,000 copies. Also, Adam Lambert's "If I Had You" debuts @ #94. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj hits the top of the Rap Songs chart with "Your Love"!
Adam Lambert had quite a night in Canada at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards, where he performed his hit For Your Entertainment single "Whataya Want From Me". Adam also walked away with the UR FAVE International Video Of The Year award for "Whataya Want From Me" (beating out Gaga)! Represent!
The latest Glee soundtrack Journey To Regionals tops this week's Billboard 200 album chart, where Christina Aguilera debuts @ #3 with Bionic following first-week sales of 111,000 copies. Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg's "California Gurls" continues its reign atop the Hot 100 singles chart this week, while Christina Aguilera debuts @ #66 with "Bionic" & re-enters @ #73 & #99 with "Not Myself Tonight" & the Nicki Minaj-assisted "Woohoo", respectively. "If I Had You" is the third single lifted from Adam Lambert's debut album For Your Entertainment. This video (Adam's fourth) has a similar vibe to the one for his first single off the album (the title track), his second video, which are polar opposites to his first ("Time For Miracles") & third ("Whataya Want From Me") videos, another similar pair. That's not a bad thing though because Adam does have many sides--it's just interesting to me. Anyway, I like this video & I love everything Adam is wearing in it!
Adam Lambert performed a set at KISS 108's concert on Saturday night in Boston. The songs included were "Whataya Want From Me", "Music Again", "Strut", "Sleepwalker", & "If I Had You". Adam did his thing during the well-rounded set. His debut album For Your Entertainment is out now.

Adam Lambert invited Entertainment Tonight to the set of his video for "If I Had You", the third single off his debut album For Your Entertainment. By the look of it, I'd say this is definitely a Glambert video! I'm glad though--a nice change of pace from "Whataya Want From Me".
