Beyonce is set to perform at & leads the nominations for the 2009 BET Awards. Sasha Fierce was nominated for five trophies, while Keri Hilson nabbed four & Jazmine Sullivan received three. These nominations are actually pretty good, so I'm gonna post them (along with my picks in bold) below:

Trina ft. Killer Mike "Look Back At Me" Video Premiere

"Look Back At Me," featuring Killer Mike, is the third single off Trina's latest album Still Da Baddest. Why this was chosen as a single I do not know. It is very difficult to get into, especially because of all the editing that had to be done. The whole thing is just a mess imo.

Trina ft. Keyshia Cole "I Got A Thang For You" Video Premiere

"I Got A Thang For You," featuring Keyshia Cole, is Trina's second single from her upcoming fourth album Still Da Baddest, due April 1st. The song is "Here We Go" Part 2 if I've ever heard one. Not because of the lyrics, but because Trina tried her hardest to re-create the hit musically that she had on her last album with Kelly Rowland. But, hey, I ain't mad at her. I love Keyshia & her parts are really cool. This must be her week, with "Heaven Sent" premiering a couple days ago. Though I do prefer the "Heaven Sent" video, I have to say that this is definitely an improvement, imo, from Trina's first single song-wise.

Trina "Single Again" Video Premiere

"Single Again" is the 1st single off Trina's upcoming 4th album Still Da Baddest, supposedly in stores on April 1st. The album title, btw, is a reference to her debut (and best-selling so far) album Da Baddest B****. As far as the song goes, I'm not a huge fan, but I can see why people would like it. The video, on the other hand, is pretty good and actually looks like it was given somewhat of a budget, which isn't always the case.
