The sexiest single momma out there Christina Milian opened up about her messy divorce from The-Dream in a cover story for the latest issue of Latina. I sure hope that her stepping out is an indication that new music is on the way!

Christina Milian Album Update

The ever-elusive Christina Milian made a rare (professional) appearance at the AMAs & gave an update on her much-delayed third studio album (in the US anyway). Christina revealed that she is "just getting started on revamping" the 2011 project formerly known as Elope formerly known as Dream In Color, which she goes into more detail about below:

"I just had to find some time to revamp & regroup everything for what this new album's gonna be. It's gonna be fun, it's gonna be sexy, it's gonna be everything that embodies what has happened in my life, but of course in the most fun manner."

However, for those, like myself, that are unsure how one would sing about a divorce in a "fun" way, Christina also said that the project will include some "intimate" material. I was afraid of this. I'm sure some of the plethora of music that has leaked by Ms. Milian as of late was from the Dream In Color era & if so, that was a disaster we thankfully avoided, but I was truly excited about Elope. The work she was doing with The-Dream really was innovative (for her at least) & showed some growth, which is likely not what we're going to receive now. Our saving grace however may just be that this album will come via Interscope Records, which may pick up the tap for some hot producers. (This seemingly clears up her label situation, as she was signed to Radio Killa Records, an Interscope subsidiary, but in light of her divorce, a split with Radio Killa was, if nothing else, assumed, resulting in confusion...)

Christina Milian To Star In "Christmas Cupid"

Christina Milian has scored herself another starring role in an ABC Family original movie. Having starred in "Snowglobe" for the channel's annual 25 Days Of Christmas three years ago, "Christmas Cupid", which was originally titled "Ex-Mas Carol", will premiere on ABC Family Sunday, December 12th, @ 8/7c. Christina Milian stars as Sloane Spencer, a high powered Hollywood publicist who finds herself haunted by the ghost of her recently departed infamous client Caitlin. With just days before Christmas, Caitlin takes Sloane on a journey to meet the ghosts of her ex-boyfriends from the past, present, & future to try & guide her to true love in a modern day take on the Charles Dickens' holiday classic story "A Christmas Carol".

Christina Milian Getting Divorced

<-- Take a good look at that & tell me what out there could possibly be better enough to give Christina Milian up..? Well, first off, The-Dream, who has managed to achieve the unfathomable feat of being the world's biggest AND dumbest douchebag--all in one chubby little package, cheats on her, HIS WIFE. Then, they announce their *surprise* separation. Now, it has been revealed that NINE days before his WIFE gave BIRTH to their CHILD, The-Dream filed for divorce from her. ~ AND, as I type this, it has just been unveiled that Christina denies having been separated from The-Dream (as he claims) at the time he filed the divorce papers, thus rendering his reasoning that their marriage was "irrevocably broken" void & stating instead that the divorce should be granted due to his infidelities. And *deep breath* because this whole situation wasn't messy enough, Christina has admitted to signing documentation that disallows her from receiving any spousal support in the event of a divorce--documentation that The-Dream presented to his 9-MONTH PREGNANT wife, who was in no state to sign such paperwork. ~ Altogether now: WHAT A DOUCHE!!! It will be the first child for Christina, who has expressed interest in starting a family before, as well as for the couple, though The-Dream already became a father with ex-wife Nivea. Christina Milian & The-Dream Get Married

Lovebirds Christina Milian & The-Dream have tied the knot. The couple 'eloped' in Las Vegas last Friday, September 4th. Apparently, the ceremony was the first of three, as the pair will have a formal wedding in Rome soon. They are also planning on renewing their vows on their one-year anniversary in front of family & friends who aren't able to make the trip to Italy. I must admit, I didn't/don't really buy them as a couple, but if it's the real thing (which is typically the case when I think it's not... lol), then congratulations!

"I Gotta Get To You" is Christina Milian's single off the "Bring It On: Fight To The Finish" soundtrack. Christina also stars in the straight-to-DVD movie, which arrives September 1st. With the release of this overly-techno song, I'm thinking maybe it's for the better that we never got the album Christina was recording while under MySpace Records. I'm looking forward to what she has cooked up with The-Dream for Elope, as I have been for a while. Anytime now, guys--a single would be great! Christina Milian "Bring It On: Fight To The Finish" Trailer

We now have a visual to go along with the fact that Christina Milian stars in "Bring It On: Fight To The Finish," the fifth in the series. Personally, I feel like this long line of straight-to-DVD sequels, which has attracted the likes of Solange & Hayden Panettiere, is a disgrace to what made the first film great. Oh well.

Beyonce has selected the third pair of singles to be taken from her latest album I Am... Sasha Fierce. For pop radio, it'll be "Broken-Hearted Girl," while urban radio will be serviced "Ego." Beyonce has shot the videos for both, the latter of which is expected to be the remix she previously recorded with Kanye West. It has also been confirmed that the Sasha Fierce glove will not be used in the "Ego" video. If that's the case, then what was the point of it in the first place? Consistency, people!

Meanwhile, Christina Milian has changed her mind regarding her forthcoming single. The first single to be lifted from her reworked & retitled Elope will now be "I'm A Cheat," as confirmed by The-Dream. [UPDATE: Or not?] Hopefully it'll do the trick!

The-Dream & Christina Milian have remixed Kanye West's track "Amazing" for this new viral video. The-Dream compares his new album Love Vs. Money to Thriller in the song & though it's alright, it ain't all that. Meanwhile, Christina Milian's next album Elope is set to drop in May.

Christina Milian Discusses New Album

In a new video update, Christina Milian reveals that her new album's title has been changed from Dream In Color to Elope. As Christina suggests in the clip, many changes are on the way for Elope, including the fact that the official first single will be a track called "Zipper," which will follow up "Us Against The World." Christina has also worked with LOS Da Maestro, a close collaborator with The-Dream & Tricky Stewart, since merging with Radio Killa. Hmm... so, changes, huh Christina? Like this?!

Christina Milian Signs With Radio Killa Records

It looks like Christina Milian wasn't kidding around when she said she was working with The-Dream because she has signed with his Radio Killa Records label. This means that Christina's forthcoming album Dream In Color, which is due in the spring, will be released as a joint venture between MySpace Records, Interscope, & Radio Killa. I sure do hope they can get their stuff together cause I'd love for Christina to have some well-deserved success with this new project.
