Billboard Update

^This week's #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart
This week's #1 single on the Hot 100 chart^

See full charts HERE.

The talentless Taylor Swift overtakes #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart again this week with her latest album Fearless. Brandy's new album Human debuted at #15 with 73,000 copies sold, which isn't as bad as it seems because had it not been for the season, sales like that would've easily landed our girl in the top 10. Avant's new self-titled album debuted at #26 after selling 52,000 copies; in fact, none of this week's four larger releases made it into the top 10, so all is not lost. Also, Maroon 5's remix album Call & Response debuted at #73. Things are a bit brighter on this week's Hot 100 singles chart however because Beyonce has reclaimed her rightful place at the top with "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)."

Maroon 5 "Goodnight Goodnight" Video Premiere

"Goodnight Goodnight" is the latest single off Maroon 5's sophomore album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. I think it's cool that they took a creative angle at making this video & I like it ... even if it is a bit overwhelming.

Maroon 5 ft. Rihanna "If I Never See Your Face Again" Video Premiere

"If I Never See Your Face Again", featuring Rihanna, is the new single by Maroon 5 that will be included on both acts' forthcoming re-releases of their latest albums. As I've said before, I like the song ... & the video is alright. I did enjoy Rihanna's chemistry with Adam Levine, Maroon 5's lead singer. Rihanna's reissue of Good Girl Gone Bad is set for release on June 17th, while Maroon 5's It Won't Be Soon Before Long re-release is due in late June.

Idol Review: Top 4

Best of the week? Tie between David Archuleta's "Love Me Tender" (W-O-W) [left] & Syesha's "A Change Is Gonna Come" (that beginning! that end! omg.) [right]. WE DID IT!! TOP 3!!! Archie & Syesha! They've been my favorites the whole season (check the archives!) & I honestly couldn't ask for more. They did amazing this week. Along with Carly, my four favorites were rounded out with Jason, so while it's sad to see him go, it was definitely his time & he was ready to go. On the results show, Maroon 5 stopped by (in honor of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame week) & performed their new single "If I Never See Your Face Again" (without Rihanna):

In honor of the incredible David Archuleta & Syesha Mercado, I found some awesome pictures...

Maroon 5 ft. Rihanna "If I Never See Your Face Again": Behind-The-Scenes

Check out a sneak peek of Maroon 5 & Rihanna's new video for the former's song "If I Never See Your Face Again", which will be featured on the re-release of both of their most recent albums. It looks good! Rihanna is looking sexy in this video & I do actually like her on the song. I guess it's the uptempos I like by her.

*UPDATED* Rihanna And Maroon 5 "If I Never See Your Face Again" Video: Behind-The-Scenes

Behind-the-scenes of the "If I Never See Your Face Again" video, which is an upcoming single lifted from Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad re-release (due June 17th), the original version of which comes from Maroon 5's sophomore album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Now this should be one hot collabo! So excited it's getting the video treatment.

UPDATE: Turns out that, though the song will be featured on Rihanna's upcoming re-release, it will actually be the first single off Maroon 5's late June re-release of their album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. (Confirmed by Billboard)

Rihanna To Team Up With Maroon 5

When Rihanna re-releases her album Good Girl Gone Bad on June 17th, the CD will feature a very interesting collaboration. RiRi has remade the song "If I Never See Your Face Again" with Maroon 5 from their sophomore album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Now this I gotta hear!

*UPDATED* Mary J. Blige And Ne-Yo Perform At Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash

Mary J. Blige And Ne-Yo can be seen here performing the remix of "Do You," the original version of which is from Ne-Yo's sophomore effort Because Of You, out since last year, at the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash, which recently aired on VH1. Though I liked his debut album, I lost interest with Ne-Yo with his dull 2nd album. Still, with MJB on the track, this remix of his former single is a hot track. They did well together.

UPDATE: Mary also performed "Fade Away," "Hurt Again" (her 2nd single), "Roses" (all from her current album Growing Pains) and the remix to "Wake Up Call" with Maroon 5, the original version of which is featured on their latest album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. I particularly like the song "Fade Away," so this is a treat. Simply click to view!
