DJ Calvin Harris has chosen to feature the vocals of Kelis on his new single "Bounce". Rest assured, Kelis does appear in the song's accompanying video, & in a rather entertaining way at that! The song's pretty good too.

2011 Billboard Music Award Update

Since we last spoke about them, the 2011 Billboard Music Awards have added Nicki Minaj &, more recently, OneRepublic to their lineup of performers. Interestingly, Billboard lists Ryan Tedder as a performer separate from OneRepublic... will he be performing alone in addition to with his band?! We shall find out when the 2011 Billboard Music Awards air next Sunday, May 22nd, @ 8/7c on ABC!

Nicole Scherzinger is (unofficially?) featured both visually & audibly in the video for "(It) Feels So Good", Steven Tyler's debut solo single, which premiered on this past week's American Idol. A subtle introduction to the host of FOX's The X Factor, perhaps, prior to her performance on Idol next week? She, of course, looks & sounds great, so I'll certainly take it! It also doesn't hurt that, although it's totally not my "style," I've always liked Steven Tyler's voice.

What Nicole Scherzinger has in store for the US edition of her debut album Killer Love is beginning to come to light. In addition to the 50 Cent-assisted version of "Right There", the 3-4 new tracks on the album will have more of an urban influence. One of those new songs is set to be "Peep Show" featuring Snoop Dogg, which was written & produced by R. Kelly & Harvey Mason, Jr. Sounds good so far! You MAKE the best album of 2011 so far even better, Nicole!

Toni, Tamar, Trina, Towanda, & Traci will all be returning to grace our TV screens again in 2012 because the sisters' reality show Braxton Family Values has been renewed for a second season--a mere four episodes into its first! The second season of Braxton Family Values will consist of 13 hour-long episodes. Congrats Toni & co!
