PCD TV Episode 4

In this one, the girls talk about what they wanted to be when they grew up. I know! Sooo punny, right? The Pussycat Dolls' sophomore album Doll Domination is set to drop on September 16th.

Solange Performs "Be My Baby" On The Charlotte Church Show

Continuing her UK promotion, Solange performed the song "Be My Baby" with Charlotte Church today on The Charlotte Church Show. Another nice job from the younger Knowles. Solange's sophomore album SoL-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams is set for release on August 26th.

Ashanti "Page Six" Magazine Cover

Ashanti covers the latest issue of Page Six magazine. She is looking good. Speaking of which, I hope she promotes her latest single off The Declaration, "Good Good," properly because that video deserves the attention!

Christina Aguilera "Macy's" Promo Pic

Check out this shot from a photoshoot Christina Aguilera has done in celebration of the 150-year anniversary of Macy's. Stunning. Hopefully Christina will grace us with her voice as well before the year is out.

Solange Performs "I Decided (Pt. 2)" On GMTV

Currently doing promotion in the UK, Solange gave a short interview & performed her current UK single "I Decided (Pt. 2)" (also known as the 'Freemasons Remix') on GMTV earlier today. Solange is a wonderful talent & did a lovely job. Personally, I can't wait for the release of her new album SoL-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams on August 26th.

Beyonce "Fashion Rocks" Promo Pic

Check out this sexy shot of Beyonce promoting her upcoming performance at Fashion Rocks. The annual concert, which features both fashion & music, will be broadcast September 9th on CBS. Some of the other performers lined up thus far include Mariah Carey, The Black-Eyed Peas, & Rihanna. It will likely be the show's hottest line-up yet.

Christina Aguilera "Rock The Vote" Ad

Check out this beautiful ad Christina Aguilera is currently featured in for Rock The Vote. She posed it up with her 6-month-old son Max to encourage young people to vote in the upcoming presidential election. The ad goes along with the PSA Christina recently shot for the cause.

Jazmine Sullivan Performs "In Love With Another Man" For Seventeen

The fabulous Jazmine Sullivan recently visited the staffers at Seventeen magazine & performed her song "In Love With Another Man" from her debut album Fearless, due September 16th, for them. For those unfamiliar with the song, you are in for a real treat. I first heard it a while back on Concrete Loop &, quite honestly, I couldn't believe my ears. To think that ANYONE, let alone someone in her 20s, could sing a song so beautifully ... I was beside myself. This is an instant classic imo, & it is a real treat to watch her sing it live. Jazmine did a wonderful job.

Big Boi ft. Mary J. Blige "Sumthin's Gotta Give" Video Premiere

"Sumthin's Gotta Give," featuring Mary J. Blige, is the first single from Big Boi's upcoming second solo CD Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. It's a political one. Look out for cameos from people like John Legend & CSI: NY's Hill Harper.

David Archuleta will be in-studio at Elvis Duran & The Z100 Morning Show THIS Friday, August 1st, to premiere his debut single "Crush" at 7:45 a.m. eastern time. OMG! Sooo exciting. Archey's debut album is set for release later this year.

New Jennifer Hudson Promo Pics

More promotional photos have emerged for Jennifer Hudson's self-titled debut album, which will hit stores September 30th. It cannot be denied: the "Spotlight" singer looks amazing.

Fergie To Play Prostitute In New Movie

Fergie will play a prostitute named Saraghina in the new film adaptation of "Nine," a Tony-winning musical. She is set to perform the song "Be Italian" with Daniel Day-Lewis, who will play Guido, in the movie. Fergie describes her character below:

"She introduces him to the world of sexuality. It's a very strong song. I'm just thrilled I get to play a character."

Previously, Fergie has appeared in movies like "Poseidon," but not really as a character. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt when it comes to her acting chops. Musically, Fergie is back recording with The Black-Eyed Peas. The group is working on "a new sound," which is exciting. I'm glad her solo success hasn't split the Peas apart.

Alicia Keys Bags Bond Theme

Recent rumors had a number of R&B's finest in the running to record the theme song for the new James Bond film, but one of the biggest sellers among them has come out victorious: Alicia Keys. She & Jack White of The White Stripes will record the theme, entitled "Another Way To Die," for the 22nd Bond film "Quantum Of Solace," which hits theaters November 7th. The duet, the first in the movie series' history, will be featured on "Quantum'"s soundtrack, which is due for release on October 28th. I'm happy for Alicia, & I think they made the right choice for the masses, but, personally, I would have liked to see one of the others that were rumored to be recording the track get the chance.

Melinda Doolittle Signs Record Deal

Despite the fact that another season of American Idol has passed us by since season six's resident pro finished in third place, Melinda Doolittle has finally signed a record deal. The Idol favorite has signed with indie label Hi Fi Recordings & has a debut album due to be released in the fall. This news will most definitely come as a relief to many Doolittle fans, like myself, who have been anticipating an album from her since she left Idol. Melinda had planned on some new music being released this year anyway, so this gives her a great outlet to do so. Can't wait!

Leona Lewis Performs "Better In Time" In Japan

Leona Lewis continues to broaden the spectrum of her international superstardom by performing her latest single "Better In Time" off her mega-hit debut album Spirit in Japan recently. She looked & sounded wonderful as always. The clip starts off with a look at her rise to fame (in Japanese), followed by an impossible-to-follow interview involving Japanese hosts & a translator without a microphone. Anyhow, the song starts at mark 6:42. Here's to Leona's return to the US (or even the UK--thank you internet!) soon with a brand-new single!

Monica "The Single" Sneak Peek

The details of Monica's reality show have now been revealed. The show, "The Single: Monica," has been reduced to a one-hour special & will air Tuesday, August 5th @ 10 p.m. on Atlanta's Peachtree TV. The special shows the process Monica went through recording the first single off her upcoming project Lessons Learned. The clip above features a peek at what to expect. The special looks like an interesting watch, however, I hope it presents itself online shortly after airing because most of us don't live in the ATL. I mean, could they find no major--or even cable--network to spare an hour of their time? I don't really feel like "The Single" is really gonna help her in the way she might have wanted, but it still looks good.

India.Arie "Beautiful Flower" Video Premiere

Check out this new video India.Arie has made for her song "Beautiful Flower." The song is her most recent single, per say, although it doesn't appear on any of her albums & has been out for a while. I'm not sure why she takes so long to make videos &, for that matter, to release albums that have been in the works for a long time, but I am certain she will not disappoint because she never has imo. I'm also not positive that this is the official music video (though I doubt any others will ever be produced), as it only features footage from the studio, but it's the only one she's ever made for the song.

Ciara "Billboard" Magazine Cover

Miss Ciara is getting her model on on the latest cover of Billboard magazine. I like the look, even if that particular picture isn't my absolute favorite. The singer is set to release her third album Fantasy Ride in November & if the Ludacris-assisted track "High Price" is any indication of what we can expect, Ciara will have one hot album on her hands. Who knew such an innovative artist would come from the girl that introduced herself to us with her "Goodies?"

JoJo "True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet" Sneak Peek

Check out this interview with JoJo about her new Lifetime movie "True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet." The video also features clips from the movie. It looks like an interesting watch. I know they won't say it, but there's no way, for instance, Lindsay Lohan didn't help inspire this movie. It's cool though, I must say, to see someone who has their head on straight take on a role like this. It will be interesting to see if JoJo can meet the challenge, but I have faith in her. "True Confessions Of A Hollywood Starlet" premieres Saturday, August 9th @ 9/8c on Lifetime.

Musically, JoJo has her third album All I Want Is Everything set to be released by the end of the year.

Weekend Flashback Performance: Toni Braxton At The 2007 NBA All-Star Game

Toni Braxton has been occupied for a while doing her show in Las Vegas entitled "Toni Braxton: Revealed." Although she recently ended her run for medical reasons, fans have been, for the most part, unable to see Braxton without taking the trip to Vegas. I, for one, would have absolutely loved to have seen her Vegas show, but I'm too young anyway. Fans like me were however granted a treat when Toni performed during the halftime show of the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. Performing a short medley of the songs "You're Makin' Me High" & "Take This Ring," the performance gives us a hint of what "Revealed" would have been like. Here's to a DVD of the show *crosses fingers* & new music from Toni as soon as she gets well!

Song Premieres: Whitney Houston + Katharine McPhee

Today, some brand new material from Whitney Houston hit the net. The song, which features Akon, is called "Like I Never Left." The title & subject of the song is very appropriate for a buzz single from someone like her. That said, the song is just alright & would have been improved without Akon's voice all up in her business. I am, however, very happy to hear Whitney again. Bring on that comeback! LISTEN

Katharine McPhee is set to make her acting debut in August 22nd's "The House Bunny." Kat, along with the rest of the cast, sings a song for the movie entitled "I Know What Boys Like." As far as I can tell, it is a remake of the classic song. Is it just me or is Katharine almost rapping in this song? This is definitely not what I prefer to hear from Kat, but is probably plenty appropriate for the film. LISTEN

The Caffeine Patch: Up Teaser Trailer?

Danity Kane ft. Missy Elliott "Bad Girl" Video Premiere

"Bad Girl," featuring Missy Elliott, is the second single off Danity Kane's sophomore album Welcome To The Dollhouse. DK really pulled it off with this video! I really like the concept & how it was presented. It's also good to see Missy in her element. Good stuff.

Jennifer Hudson On Regis And Kelly

Jennifer Hudson continued to make the rounds recently by stopping by Live With Regis & Kelly to promote her new single "Spotlight" off her self-titled debut album that is set for release on September 30th. PCD TV Episode 3

Watch The Pussycat Dolls film their music video for "When I Grow Up," the first single off their sophomore album Doll Domination, due September 16th, above. On a random note, that white girl with the long blonde hair kinda looks like Ashlee Simpson imo (I know she isn't--just sayin'...).

Pink Album Update

Pink has set a release date of October 28th for her as-yet-untitled fifth studio album. The first single off the project, entitled "So What," will be released in early August. "So What" is produced by Max Martin, the man behind her hits "Who Knew" & "U + Ur Hand." Dave Meyers is set to direct the music video for the single; he previously worked with Pink on the videos for "U + Ur Hand" & "Stupid Girls." Pink is set to appear on FNMTV this & next Friday, but it is unknown when exactly the video will premiere. Sooo excited! Pink is an amazing talent & I've followed her for her entire career. "Who Knew" from the I'm Not Dead album is a great song, so I'm glad she is working with some of the same people. She also makes consistently good videos, so I can't wait for that. Of course, I wanna hear the song, too! I'm sure we have good things to look forward to.

Sean Kingston "Take You There (Kidz Bop Version)" Video Premiere

Sean Kingston has made a video for the Kidz Bop version of his hit "Take You There." "We can go to the tropics, we can get it poppin'..." LOL. So this is what it's come to ... already? I hope the payday's worth it.

Solange "SoL-AngeL" Cover

Check out the vibrant cover for Solange's sophomore album SoL-AngeL & The Hadley St. Dreams above. I find myself feeling the same way I did when her "I Decided" video premiered: I like the creativity & originality, but it's a bit much. Nonetheless, I simply love everything I've heard from her musically this time around, so I can't wait for the CD to drop on August 26th.

Rihanna "Disturbia" Video Premiere

"Disturbia" is the new single off Rihanna's recent re-release Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. All I have to say for the video is... INCREDIBLE. This is the type of thing Rihanna should be doing. That's why crappy songs like "Take A Bow" & crappy videos like "Don't Stop The Music" annoy me so much when it comes to her because of all the wasted potential. I really like the song & the video fits it perfectly. Might I mention that director David LaChapelle (Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez) is a master of his craft. Excellent, excellent job.

Jennifer Hudson On Good Morning America

Jennifer Hudson appeared on Good Morning America earlier today & performed her new single "Spotlight" taken from her self-titled debut album, which is due out September 30th. It was preceded by a short interview. I am SOOO glad to see J-Hud out there promoting before the week her album comes out! I'm so tired of people doing that. She did a wonderful job & she looks awesome!

In Theaters Now...

Grade: A

Michelle Williams "Unexpected" Final Tracklisting

There have been previous reports on the tracklisting for Michelle Williams' breakthrough third album Unexpected, but it appears we finally have the real one. Here it is, via Amazon:

1. Unexpected Intro
2. Hello Heartbreak
3. We Break The Dawn
4. Lucky Girl Interlude/Lucky Girl
5. The Greatest
6. Till The End Of The World
7. Private Party
8. Hungover
9. We Break The Dawn (Part 2 ft. Flo Rida)
10. Stop This Car
11. Unexpected
12. Thank U
13. Too Young For Love

This comes not only as realistic news, with the addition of the more urban-friendly version of first single "We Break The Dawn" that features rapper Flo Rida, but good news, as this listing has the most tracks. Whatever the content, I can't wait for the release of this title on August 12th.

Karina "First Love" Tracklisting, Revised Cover Art

Check out the new cover art for Karina's debut album First Love, due out August 19th, to the left. I would definitely consider this one an upgrade. While I like both, the new one has a better mixture of sophistication & playfulness, which I believe better represents Karina's music. The tracklisting for the project is now available as well:

1. 90's Baby
2. Baby, Baby (ft. Lil' Mama)
3. Can't Find The Words
4. 16 @ War
5. Winner
6. Can You Handle It
7. The Love We Got
8. They Ain't Gotta Love You
9. Slow Motion
10. Can't Bring Me Down
11. First Love

I am loving this extremely talented youngster right now. Her singles "16 @ War" & "Can't Find The Words" are musts on my current playlist, so I am definitely looking forward to the album.

Kelly Rowland Performs On T4 On The Beach

"Work" & "Dilemma"

Destiny's Child Medley

Kelly Rowland performed as a headlining act at the UK event T4 On The Beach & rocked the house. She did a really great job of performing & had a pretty awesome crowd as well. My only complaint is that I wish she would perform more of her current solo material, but I guess she does what she has to.

Weekend Flashback Performance: Jennifer Hudson At The 2007 Soul Train Music Awards

In what I believe to be somewhat of a hidden gem, Jennifer Hudson, fresh off her Academy Award win, sang one of the songs from "Dreamgirls" that helped her win the award, "One Night Only," at the 2007 Soul Train Music Awards. Just a microphone, spotlight (lol), & her, Jennifer proved yet again just how powerful that voice she has is. I truly hope talents like Ms. Hudson can make it in this industry & continue to entertain us for years to come because it's talent like her's that reminds us all what music is really about.

Lil' Mama Performs "A Milli" On 106 And Park

Lil' Mama performed her freestyle version of Lil' Wayne's "A Milli" recently on BET's 106 & Park. Not just because she is the Lil' I prefer, Mama killed it. Her album VYP: Voice Of The Young People is in stores now & I recommend picking it up!

Britney Spears Gives K-Fed Sole Custody Of Kids

I normally like to stay out of Britney's personal matters, but I just had to post this. It seems that Britney Spears has given up fighting for her two children, Sean & Jayden, & handed sole custody of them to her ex-husband Kevin Federline; she will have visitation rights. You can set your watch by it: everytime you think she is headed in the right direction...

Nelly ft. Ashanti And Akon "Body On Me" Video Premiere

"Body On Me," featuring Ashanti & Akon, is the new single off Nelly's forthcoming album Brass Knuckles, due September 16th with guests such as Ciara & Fergie. The video, shot in Las Vegas, is a bit more entertaining than I gave it credit for from the clip, but still nothing too spectacular. I might add that the video version is somewhat different--at the very least mixed up--from the version on Ashanti's The Declaration album, but that is expected, as the video is supposed to be primarily for Nelly.

Avril Lavigne, Vanessa Carlton In Kohl's Commercial

Kohl's got together several popular music artists to sing Lenny Kravitz's song "Love Revolution" for their new ad. Among them are the likes of Avril Lavigne & Vanessa Carlton. Pretty cool.

Janet Jackson's MTV Reality Show: First Look

Check out this behind-the-scenes look at what Janet Jackson's new MTV reality show (working title: The Janet Jackson Project) will be like. I'll probably watch. Good to hear a little music from Discipline being played there. I hope we haven't seen the last from that wonderful album.

Natasha Bedingfield On Today

"Angel" + Interview

"Pocketful Of Sunshine"

"Unwritten"

Natasha Bedingfield performed today on Today to promote her latest album Pocketful Of Sunshine. She performed the successful title track, as well as the album track "Angel" & old hit "Unwritten" with a choir from Harlem. She sounded great. The two singles have been run completely into the ground for me, but I like "Angel."

Same as last week... #1 album: Lil' Wayne Tha Carter III & #1 single: Katy Perry "I Kissed A Girl." Good news though--Mariah Carey debuted on the Hot 100 singles chart this week at #100 with her new single "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time." YAY!

Nelly ft. Ashanti And Akon "Body On Me" Video Preview

Check out this short preview for the new video "Body On Me" from Nelly, Ashanti, & Akon. I say it like that because the song is technically Nelly's new single, though the song is also featured on Ashanti's latest album The Declaration. It doesn't look to be anything too special, but the video should be available for viewing in full very soon.

Rihanna Performs "Breakin' Dishes" On MTV Mobile Bang Concert

Now, granted, I hate Rihanna as a performer, which is why I don't often post her, well, performing. But "Breakin' Dishes" is one of the best & most overlooked songs off Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album, so that justified a post in my mind. RiRi did, in fact, perform the song at the MTV Mobile Bang Concert ... & the performance didn't impress me much, as usual, but it was basically the best of the worst for her.

Nas And Keri Hilson Perform "Hero" On Jimmy Kimmel

Keri Hilson took a second off from promoting her new single "Energy" this week to assist Nas in performing his new single "Hero" off his untitled album that hit stores this week. I really like the production of the song, so it was cool to hear that live. Keri & Nas both did their thing.

Leona Lewis Performs On Victoria Day

"Bleeding Love"

"Better In Time"

Leona Lewis performed her two singles "Bleeding Love" & "Better In Time" off her debut album Spirit in celebration of Victoria Day. One thing I will say: it was refreshing to hear live versions of the songs being performed.

Ashanti "Good Good" Video Premiere

"Good Good" is the second single off Ashanti's latest album The Declaration, out now. The song is alright. ... With that said, I L-O-V-E this video! It's so refreshing to watch a truly enjoyable music video. Director Melina (Keri Hilson, Solange) did a great job! Real life boyfriend Nelly plays Ashanti's love interest in the video.

David Archuleta On Studio 5

"Crazy" & "Heaven"

Interview

Q&A

On the day of the second show in Salt Lake City, Utah, David Archuleta's hometown stop of the American Idol tour, Archey performed on Utah's Studio 5. He sang "Crazy," same as yesterday, & "Heaven," a song he sang in Hollywood on American Idol, in full. He also sat down for an interview & took a few questions from the audience. Love that kid & his voice. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the tour, but from footage online that I've seen, David Archuleta blows 'em away every night.

The Caffeine Patch: New Bolt Trailer

Check out this brand new trailer for Disney's upcoming computer animated flick "Bolt." For anyone who has seen "WALL-E" or "Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D" (in which it is actually played in 3D!), you've already seen this trailer. However, I would like to introduce the film to everyone else. I think it looks hilarious & I LOVE the hamster! It will probably be good, despite Miley Cyrus' voice "talent" lol. "Bolt" hits theaters in Disney Digital 3D(!) on November 26th.

Mariah Carey At Disney World, More

Check out these pictures of Mariah Carey & husband Nick Cannon with Mickey (& Minnie) Mouse at Walt Disney World recently. MC seems like such a cool person. In related news, Mariah is now scheduled to perform her new single "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards when they air on Monday, August 4th, on Fox. Also, she will be performing a mini-concert on July 31st, portions of which will air on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that same day. Never can have too much Mimi!

Fonzworth Bentley ft. Kanye West And Andre 3000 "Everybody" Video Premiere

"Everybody," featuring Kanye West & Andre 3000, is the new single off Fonzworth Bentley's debut album C.O.L.O.U.R.S. This is a little something out of the ordinary for the blog, but I found the video & song alike very fun & entertaining.

Nicole Scherzinger "Her Name Is Nicole" Sampler

While it looks as if The Pussycat Dolls will release their new album before Nicole gets to release her own solo CD, some hope for us fans of Nicole Scherzinger has just surfaced. A sampler for her unreleased album Her Name Is Nicole is featured above & includes snippets of the following tracks:

1. Physical
2. Just Say Yes
3. Who's Gonna Love You (New Version)
4. Save Me From Myself

Note: The snippet for "Physical" is of a previously unleaked part of the song! Exciting ... when it comes to Nicole, I'm easy to please.

Alicia Keys "Superwoman" Video Premiere

"Superwoman" is the fourth single taken from Alicia Keys' very successful third album As I Am. Keys represents various powerful women in the clip. She did a nice job.

Monday, July 14, 2008

N.E.R.D. "Spaz" Video Premiere

"Spaz" is the second single off N.E.R.D.'s latest album Seeing Sounds, which is out now. As I really like the song, I was a bit disappointed; of course, I've never much been one for black & white videos anyway. At least they added some effects.

New Brandy Promo Pic

The first promotional photo for Brandy's upcoming fifth studio album has surfaced. Love love love it. As B-Rocka is one of my very favorites, I'm highly anticipating her project.

Keri Hilson "Energy" Video Premiere

"Energy" is the first single off Keri Hilson's debut album In A Perfect World..., due September 23rd. Keri co-hosted 106 & Park on BET earlier today to premiere the video & now it has hit the net. Oh, how I've waited for this day. I haven't known of Keri as long as some, but when I discovered her, I knew she was someone special. "Energy" is my personal favorite song that I've heard from her, so I'm glad it was released as her first single. I think Keri looks great in this video & that it visually does justice to the song. I'm really looking forward to the release of her project, so I hope it comes out as scheduled.

David Archuleta On Good Day Utah

"Crazy"

"Waiting On The World To Change" + Short Interview

Interview

David Archuleta visited his hometown Fox station today when the American Idol tour made its stop in Salt Lake City. He performed "Crazy," the Gnarls Barkley song he sang during Hollywood week that Idol couldn't get clearance to show, so now his fans (like me--yay!) can hear his rendition, which is magnificent, just like everything he does. He also sang his original audition song, John Mayer's "Waiting On The World To Change," which was great to hear in its entirety. Archey also did a few other typical news show things, such as playing weather man, so that was fun to watch. It is so great to be able to see him perform on TV during this drought between the show & his album. Great stuff.

*UPDATED* New Brandy Music In 24 Days!

Fellow Brandy fans, it may not be long now. According to a countdown clock on her official myspace, new music from Brandy is only 11 short days away. Not much more information is known at this time about the music, but fans can sign up for Brandy's mailing list to find out more when the day arrives. It appears that Epic Records may be a good home for B-Rocka, as they are finally getting the ball rolling on the long-awaited project. To make a long story short: Brandy's back!

UPDATE: The countdown clock on Brandy's myspace has been set back two weeks, so the new music is now set to premiere in 24 days. It sucks to have to wait longer, but how can we complain when it's only a matter of days compared to the four years it's been since the release of her last studio album, Afrodisiac?

David Archuleta Debut Single News

David Archuleta is currently recording his debut album for Jive Records while on the road with the American Idol tour. News has surfaced, however, about the first single off his upcoming album. The song, entitled "Crush," will be released to radio on August 12th, being available for airplay the day before. David's as-yet-untitled debut album, which is currently available for pre-order & in the top 10 bestsellers on Amazon, will reportedly be released on November 4th. The David that should have won is the best guy American Idol has ever seen & I can't wait for his album.

Weekend Flashback Performance: Britney Spears At The 2001 MTV VMAs

Yes, the one with the snake. When it came time for her third album, Britney, to be released, Britney Spears was ready to show the world that she was more than just your average pop princess. And, for her, what better place than the Video Music Awards to debut a totally new sound? In 2001, Britney premiered her single "I'm A Slave 4 U" by performing it on the annual MTV awards show & it became yet another of her classic career moments. All in all, this was one hot performance from the pop star.

Daughtry "What About Now" Video Premiere

"What About Now" is the latest single from Daughtry off their self-titled debut album. I don't normally post so much on them at once, but it just so happened to turn out that way lol. This video basically plays out as a PSA on the problems of the world.

Christina Aguilera "Rock The Vote" PSA

Christina Aguilera, along with baby Max, recently shot a public service announcement for Rock The Vote to encourage young people to vote in the upcoming presidential election. Christina sings "America The Beautiful" amazingly well in the clip.

Daughtry "Daughtry Deluxe" Details

On September 9th, a deluxe edition of Daughtry's self-titled debut album will be released. The CD/DVD set will include the original album with four bonus tracks: acoustic versions of "What About Now," "It's Not Over," & "Home," & "Feels Like The First Time," a cover. The DVD will include all five of Daughtry's music videos, two live clips, & footage from the road. As it has become the latest trend, I suppose it is fitting for this very successful band to (no pun intended) jump on the bandwagon. I kinda like the re-releases personally because they are often for CDs I never bought, but wanted to--this one included. Definitely something to think about. Note: No word yet on cover art, but it may not change from the original release, which is pictured above.

Britney Spears will make a virtual appearance at Madonna's upcoming tour. Britney is currently filming footage that will be used during Madonna's upcoming "Sticky & Sweet" tour. No additional information is available at this time. Well, I must admit ... that's weird. But, hey, she's doing something productive! In related news, I've included the cover of the latest issue of OK! magazine below, which features Britney's lil' sister Jamie Lynn Spears with her newborn baby:

Nas ft. Keri Hilson "Hero": Behind-The-Scenes

Just wanted to share this clip with all of you. Though the video recently premiered, Keri Hilson wasn't featured much visually. This insider's look at the making of Nas' new video for "Hero" shows some of Keri's scenes that were cut from the final product. Such a shame.

Keyshia Cole Performs "Heaven Sent" On Good Morning America

Keyshia Cole recently appeared on Good Morning America for a short interview & to perform her latest single "Heaven Sent," the fourth from her sophomore album Just Like You. She seems to really be promoting this single for whatever reason. I do like this particular performance of the song from her the best I think though.
